Da Nang awaits the Prime Minister's opinion to resolve the Golden Hill City Project
The adjustment of the Quan Nam - Thuy Tu Ecological Urban Area Project (Golden Hill City) is under the authority of the Prime Minister , so Da Nang City must wait for the Prime Minister's opinion.
Da Nang City has just informed about the results of handling the petition of Trung Nam Joint Stock Company regarding the resolution of this enterprise's problems.
Accordingly, Trung Nam Joint Stock Company proposed that Da Nang City adjust the Investment Certificate of Quan Nam - Thuy Tu Ecological Urban Area Project (Golden Hill City); make overall adjustments to the Golden Hill City Project and the 50m strip project of Nguyen Tat Thanh extended street.
Da Nang City said that according to the documents, the investor proposed to adjust the Quan Nam - Thuy Tu Ecological Urban Area project (Golden Hill City) according to the Investment Law 2020 with 6 contents.
Specifically, update investor information, project name, objectives (add content on building houses for sale or rent, lease-purchase); adjust scale, total investment capital of the project from 4,447 billion VND to 7,648 billion VND; project implementation progress from 2010-2016 adjusted to 2023-2029.

According to the People's Committee of Da Nang City , this agency previously issued an Investment Registration Certificate for the Project, but has not yet completed the procedures to submit to the Prime Minister for investment permission according to regulations.
The adjustment of the Project is under the authority of the Prime Minister. Therefore, the City People's Committee has no basis to adjust the Investment Registration Certificate.
Da Nang City informed that the locality is still continuing to resolve the project. The city continued to send 3 documents to the Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and Ministry of Justice. So far, only the Ministry of Justice has responded in writing.
On June 27, 2024, Da Nang City continued to issue Official Dispatch No. 3451/UBND-SKHDT to the Prime Minister and relevant ministries and branches to consider and handle the petition of Trung Nam Joint Stock Company.
