Da Nang enhances tourist experiences in the last months of the year

DNVN - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang, Truong Thi Hong Hanh, said that the tourism stimulus program for the last 5 months of 2025 announced by the city on August 16 has many highlights in terms of increasing experiences, amenities, new tourism products and preferential prices and services.

On September 2, entrance fees will be free at historical and cultural relics such as Da Nang Museum, Cham Sculpture Museum, Fine Arts Museum, Sa Huynh Culture Museum, Hoi An Museum, Ngu Hanh Son scenic spot...; on September 5, 50% of entertainment, food , accommodation, and sightseeing services at Ba Na and Vinwonder tourist areas will be exempted for students.

Along with the culinary passport (Da Nang Food Tour) which has been highly appreciated by tourists, in this stimulus program, in addition to expanding and enhancing the culinary experience of Quang Nam - Da Nang, the Da Nang tourism industry has launched the heritage passport (Da Nang Heritage Tour) and the green passport (Da Nang Green Tour).

Visitors will directly experience the journey of discovering heritage and receive incentives and gifts imbued with cultural colors, or immerse themselves in green space with a green passport and receive incentives and gifts made from environmentally friendly materials, protecting nature towards sustainable responsible tourism.

With the cooperation of VNPay and TRip C, Da Nang tourism industry is aiming for convenience and digital technology application so that tourists can conveniently pay online. The three passports mentioned above are not only paper copies for tourists who like to experience directly but also online passports for tourists who love technology.

Notably, with being in the Top 10 Asian destinations attracting the most international visitors, Da Nang tourism industry continues to attract visitors to return through the I Love Da Nang program exclusively for international visitors returning to the city, which has been implemented since 2020.

In addition, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang will connect with the Tourism Associations of Da Nang, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, the Central Highlands provinces, traditional travel agencies, major OTA platforms such as Klook, Traveloka..., social networks, domestic and foreign press, celebrities... to promote the tourism stimulus program in the last 5 months of 2025.

Tourists can contact travel agencies, accommodation establishments, and service units selected to participate in the program according to the specific list published on the Danang Tourism Information Portal www.danangfantasticity.com; Danang Fantasticity Fanpage; and the official website on the Danang tourism stimulus program www.enjoydanang.vn.

According to Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, the implementation of the program aims to contribute to achieving the target of the Da Nang tourism industry in 2015 to welcome more than 17.3 million visitors, an increase of 15% compared to the previous year, of which international visitors reached 7.6 million (up 25%), domestic visitors reached 9.7 million (up 8%), with revenue of nearly 30 trillion VND (up 26%). These are challenging but also hopeful numbers.

“With a larger space and a new stature after the merger, Da Nang tourism will bring visitors a full range of products from beach resorts to cultural heritage, ecology, cuisine, events, festivals and a variety of MICE, wedding, golf, etc. in the last 5 months of 2025,” Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh emphasized.
