Da Nang sets up working group to study investment in urban railway connecting Quang Nam

(QNO) - The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just decided to establish a Working Group to study investment in the Da Nang - Quang Nam urban railway line (hereinafter referred to as the Working Group).

According to the decision, the Head of the working group is Mr. Le Quang Nam - Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee; the Deputy Head is the Director of Da Nang City Department of Construction.

The working group also includes the Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Da Nang City, leaders of the Department of Science and Technology, Department of Finance, Office of the People's Committee of Da Nang City and Director of the Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects of the city.

The working group is responsible for researching and proposing to the People's Committee of Da Nang City on policies, orientations, mechanisms, policies and overall solutions related to the research on investment in the construction of an urban railway connecting Da Nang - Quang Nam.

Coordinate the activities of relevant departments, branches, localities and units in the process of organizing research and proposing plans; coordinate with the People's Committee of Quang Nam province to study the urban railway plan connecting the two localities.

At the same time, evaluate options and ideas in terms of socio-economic efficiency, economic and technical feasibility, environmental impacts, sustainability, conformity with socio-economic development orientation, urban planning and related planning of the city and regional planning.
