Da Nang opens military exhibition area on the occasion of the city's liberation anniversary

(NLDO) - Da Nang City will hold a ceremony to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding and the 50th anniversary of the city's liberation at Tien Son Sports Palace on March 29.

On March 11, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, inspected the preparations for the celebration of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the City Party Committee and the 50th anniversary of the city's liberation at Tien Son Sports Palace.

At the celebration, there will be an exhibition space, opening on March 26 with a total area of nearly ^9,000m2 . Of which, the industry area is ^3,000m2 , the military exhibition area is ^3,375m2 , the business area is ^2,000m2 and ^600m2 is the stage area.

The official celebration took place on March 29 at Tien Son Sports Palace.

During the inspection, Secretary Nguyen Van Quang suggested that the military exhibition space with military equipment should be moved to the front for people to see. Next would be the space displaying Da Nang City's achievements.

In addition, it is necessary to add more exhibition space for achievements of districts.

The Da Nang Party Secretary also requested that seats be carefully prepared for the delegates. The city police were also asked to provide traffic guidance and tighten security during the ceremony.

The Secretary of Da Nang requested the implementing units to absorb the comments, research and implement all contents, complete the infrastructure, scenarios, decorations, etc., and protection plans in the area, and report the overall results before March 14.

The People's Committee of Da Nang City has issued a plan to organize fireworks to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the city's liberation. The fireworks will be held from 10:00 p.m. to 10:25 p.m. on March 29 at Asia Park, Phan Dang Luu Street, Hai Chau District.

The city will use the Fire One electronic fireworks system with 1,950 high-altitude fireworks and 90 low-altitude pyrotechnics.
