Provincial People's Council delegates meet voters of Thach Thanh district

On the morning of June 7, the delegation of the Provincial People's Council, including delegates: Nguyen Van Hung, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, Standing member of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Ethnic Committee; Bui Thi Muoi, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Bui Thi Dieu, cultural and social officer of Thanh Yen commune (Thach Thanh), met with voters of Thach Thanh district before the 20th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026.

At the meeting, the representative of the delegation of the Provincial People's Council announced the expected content and program of the 20th Session of the 18th Provincial People's Council; reported a summary of the socio -economic situation, national defense and security of the province in the first 5 months of the year, solutions to implement key tasks in the last months of 2024; reported the results of handling voters' petitions sent to the sessions of the Provincial People's Council.

Delegate Bui Thi Muoi announced the expected content and agenda of the 20th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council.

Delegate Bui Thi Dieu reported briefly on the socio-economic, defense and security situation of the province in the first 5 months of the year, and solutions to implement key tasks in the last months of 2024.

Voters of Thach Thanh district expressed their excitement at the province's socio-economic development in the first months of 2024; at the same time, they made suggestions and recommendations to the provincial People's Council delegates on issues of public concern.

Voters of Thanh Yen commune proposed that the province consider and find solutions to increase the level of financial support for socio- political organizations; increase the remuneration for part-time workers at the commune, village and residential group levels so that they can work with peace of mind and contribute to society.

Thanh Tho commune voters requested competent authorities to consider raising the compensation level for people when implementing State projects, creating favorable conditions for site clearance compensation so that projects can ensure progress. Along with that, they requested the province to have appropriate policies and solutions for teachers of Thanh Tho Primary School in particular, and primary school teachers in the district in general when teaching extra sessions and extra periods.

Voters of Thanh Hung commune requested the province to consider allocating capital so that the project of building the office of Thanh Hung commune People's Committee can be implemented soon; repairing and upgrading the Buoi river dyke system, serving the work of flood and storm prevention and meeting the production and living needs of the people in the area.

After receiving opinions, recommendations and reflections from voters, representatives of Thach Thanh district leaders explained and clarified a number of issues within their authority.

For issues beyond its authority, the Provincial People's Council Delegation will receive, synthesize and send them to the 20th Session of the 18th Provincial People's Council for consideration and resolution.
