Delegates of the Vietnam Film Festival offer flowers at Uncle Ho Monument Park

On the morning of November 21, the delegation of the 24th Vietnam Film Festival, led by Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Tran Thi Dieu Thuy, offered flowers at Uncle Ho Monument Park (Ho Chi Minh City).

Also attending the flower offering ceremony were Mr. Dang Tran Cuong - Director of the Department of Cinema, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 24th Vietnam Film Festival ; Ms. Le Thi Ha - Director of the Vietnam Film Institute; Mr. Vu Duc Tung - Director of the National Cinema Center; Mr. Tran The Thuan - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City; screenwriter Duong Cam Thuy - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Cinema Association...

This is one of the first activities in the series of events of the 24th Vietnam Film Festival .

The delegation offered flowers and observed a minute of silence in memory of President Ho Chi Minh - National Liberation Hero, genius leader of the Party and people, outstanding cultural figure of Vietnam.

The Vietnam Film Festival with the slogan “Vietnamese Cinema - Sustainable Development and International Integration in the New Era”, takes place from November 20 to 25 in Ho Chi Minh City.

This is the first major film event organized by Ho Chi Minh City, after being recognized by UNESCO as a Creative City in the field of cinema.

The opening ceremony of the Vietnam Film Festival will take place at 8pm on November 21 at the Thong Nhat Hall in Ho Chi Minh City. The event is expected to attract 5,500 attendees, including 1,200 artists and thousands of spectators.

On the morning of November 22, at Rex Hotel, the seminar on Film Industry Development in the New Era took place.

On the morning of November 23, the workshop on Current Situation and Solutions to Attract Film Crews to Localities will also take place at Rex Hotel.

On the evening of November 23, the music and fashion show in the film took place at Nguyen Hue walking street.

On the morning of November 24, the film crew of Cricket: Adventure to the Swamp Village met at Van Lang University.

On the morning of November 25, an exchange between director Ly Hai and students at the University of Theatre and Cinema, Ho Chi Minh City.

The closing ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Army Theater at 8:00 p.m. on November 25 and will be broadcast live on Ho Chi Minh City Radio and Television.
