First experience at Ho Chi Minh City Book Street
Mr. Le Hoang, Director of Ho Chi Minh City Book Street, shared that this is a new cultural activity model, first tested at the Book Street called Night Book and Culture Festival .
Mr. Hoang emphasized that the model of Book Festival and Night Culture is organized in the spirit of taking reading cultural activities as the core.
At the same time, focus on exploiting activities with cultural, educational , artistic aspects and types of community activities and entertainment suitable to the community's need to enjoy positive spiritual culture.
"This is a concrete step contributing to the implementation of the policy of building Ho Chi Minh City into a creative, dynamic and unique urban area, while affirming that Book Street is not only a "knowledge destination", but can also become a "vibrant cultural space at night" - Mr. Hoang said.

Eat traditional cakes, join Book Street
There is a traditional cake stall located at the entrance to the Book Street. Many foreign and Vietnamese visitors are interested in learning more and each person holds a small plate of cake, walking along the Book Street to see, experience and participate in the activities here when night falls.

This area is a reading and book discussion area for book lovers. That area is a portrait sketching area, and diagonally across the drawing area is a place for children to explore and try making clay animals.

The evening of November 21 is a program performed by artists of Tran Huu Trang Theater, called Promoting traditional art combined with folk music .
The MC briefly introduced to the audience about traditional musical instruments, vọng cổ songs, and mới cổ giao duyên songs, an outstanding creation of composer Viễn Châu.
During the 30-minute program, viewers will enjoy the neo-traditional song Banh Bong Lan (composer: Loan Thao). Next is the scene song Dau chan nguoi moi co (composer: Pham Van Dang, director: Minh Truong - Quynh Khoi).
On the main stage there was also a debate on Applying Vietnamese Quality in Cinema .
Mr. Le Hoang informed: "Based on the experimental activities of this 3-night weekend, we will learn from experience, find ways to call for and widely connect social resources to jointly develop a truly high-quality Book Festival and Night Culture model.
Initially it was the last 3 days of each month to progress to the last 3 days of each week, and it happened regularly with good success in the future."
