Hue University: Expanding international cooperation towards the global labor market

Hue University has taken a strategic step to expand cooperation with many Japanese enterprises to connect university training towards the global labor market.

On June 5, in Tokyo, Japan, Dr. Bui Van Loi, Deputy Director in charge of Hue University and Mr. Biyu Lee, Chairman of Meisei Group (Japan) signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation, marking the beginning of a joint program to train and recruit Vietnamese engineers to work in Japan, while continuing to expand cooperation in areas such as tourism - hotels, and languages.

According to the signed agreement, the parties will coordinate to organize and implement cooperation activities in career counseling and orientation; Japanese language and cultural skills training; implementation of specialized engineering training programs; multidisciplinary training cooperation. Hue University and Meisei Group will connect to introduce job opportunities in Japan and guide students to prepare necessary luggage for the international working environment, at the same time coordinate to provide Japanese language courses from elementary to intermediate level, training knowledge about Japanese corporate culture, helping students adapt effectively to the working environment in Japan. In addition, with the advantage of multidisciplinary training at Hue University, the two sides agreed to expand multidisciplinary cooperation, from engineering to tourism - hotels, languages, to train high-quality human resources to serve the domestic and international labor market.

Within the framework of activities to promote international cooperation and connect businesses to serve training, on June 6, 2025, a delegation of Hue University visited and worked with Nissyo Company, a leading enterprise specializing in the production of transformers used in the electronics industry, a partner supplying equipment to the largest microchip and chip manufacturing corporations in the world .

The two sides agreed to soon promote cooperation contents, including implementing technical internship programs for students in key engineering majors; recruiting graduates to officially work at Nissyo Japan. Accordingly, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology - Hue University will be the key unit to promote the potential for cooperation between Hue University and Nissyo, especially in the joint activities of training high-quality technical human resources.

The establishment of cooperation between Hue University and Japanese enterprises is a strategic step, contributing to effectively connecting labor supply and demand between the two countries, opening up opportunities for Hue University students to access professional training and working environments in Japan. This strategic cooperation represents an important step forward in the international integration process, while affirming the increasingly important role of Hue University in connecting university training with the global labor market.
