Hue University announces 2025 admission floor score: Majors appear with floor score of 24 points

Accordingly, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology under Hue University established the highest admission floor score (among the group of faculties and member schools that have announced the floor score), with 24 points (based on high school graduation exam scores) for the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology major - Microchip Design Technology program; the floor score based on the capacity assessment of Ho Chi Minh City National University (1,200-point scale) is the lowest at 610 and the highest at 960.

Notably, in this year's admissions, member units of Hue University simultaneously applied many admission methods. The most common are considering high school graduation exam scores, high school transcripts, and considering the results of competency assessment tests of Ho Chi Minh City National University (VNU) and Hanoi National University.

The University of Science is a unit that fully applies all three methods. The minimum score for admission to majors based on high school graduation exam scores and academic records is 15 and 18 points respectively; if based on capacity assessment, the general rule is 600 points (VNU-HCM) or 75 points (VNU-Hanoi).

Some schools such as the University of Economics do not consider academic records, but only enroll students based on high school exam scores, with a floor score range of 15 to 18 points; in which Marketing is the highest (18 points).

In addition, schools such as the University of Foreign Languages, the University of Tourism, and the University of Law still flexibly use both high school exam scores and academic records. In particular, the minimum score for considering academic records in some places reaches 20.25 points, such as the Law, Economic Law (University of Law) and Tourism and Hotel Management (University of Tourism).

The International Faculty - Hue University stipulates that the general minimum score for the high school exam is 15 points and the academic transcript is 18 points, however, the two majors of International Relations and Multimedia Communications do not consider academic transcripts.

Most of the majors in the University of Science, University of Agriculture and Forestry, University of Arts, International Faculty, Hue University Branch in Quang Tri... have a minimum score based on the high school exam score of 15 points - the minimum score according to the general regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

However, in some majors, the minimum score has made a breakthrough. For example, Marketing (University of Economics), Law (University of Law) or Tourism and Hotel Management (School of Tourism) all have minimum scores of 18 points or more, even over 20 points if considered based on academic records...

Hue University said that the rules and equivalent conversion table between admission methods will be announced before 5:00 p.m. on July 23, helping candidates clearly understand how to convert scores between exams and methods, thereby considering appropriate wishes.

Some schools under Hue University have not announced their floor scores yet.

As of July 22, three units including the University of Education, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, and the Faculty of Physical Education have not yet announced the floor score, as they are waiting for official instructions from the Ministry of Education and Training.
