There are 6 majors with a benchmark score of over 27 points (under 28 points), including: Logistics and Supply Chain Management career orientation program, Foreign Economics standard program, Foreign Economics high-quality program, International Business high-quality program, Digital Marketing program, and Finance - Banking advanced program.
The Computer Science major has an admission score of 36.4 points with a doubling factor for math (equivalent to over 9 points/subject). The remaining programs basically have admission scores concentrated around 25 to 27 points.
Foreign Trade University considers the benchmark scores according to 2 original combinations: combination of 3 high school exam subjects for standard programs; combination of 2 high school exam subjects and converted IELTS scores for advanced, high-quality and international career-oriented programs.
The school does not add points to IELTS and has a low IELTS score conversion threshold compared to the conversion of high school exam scores and other universities. Accordingly, 6.5 IELTS is only converted to 8.5 English points, and to reach the conversion threshold of 10 points, candidates must achieve above 8.0 IELTS.
For languages and computer science majors, the admission score is calculated out of 40 points with a double coefficient for foreign languages for languages majors and for mathematics for computer science majors.
