“UEH Global Talent” Management Trainee Program

With this strategic positioning and vision, right from the first stage of establishment, UEH identified building a strong, capable, enthusiastic and ready-to-meet dual-role faculty team to meet the rapidly developing requirements ofeducation at home and abroad as a core factor.

Therefore, UEH launched the “UEH Global Talent” program to attract key personnel for the initial operation phase and long-term development of UEH Nexus Campus in Nha Trang.

This is also considered the first Management Trainee Program implemented by a University in Vietnam.

“UEH Global Talent” is the first Management Trainee Program implemented by a University in Vietnam.

The program seeks outstanding young faces - students who graduated with honors, distinctions, masters, and doctors from prestigious domestic and international schools, with good foreign language skills and a desire for self-development. Candidates for the program will be: (1) granted 100% scholarships to study international masters and doctoral programs at UEH and (2) intern as lecturers and administrators at dynamic management units of UEH before returning to work at Hub Nha Trang.

UEH Global Talent: Management Trainee Program looking for new generation Lecturers - Managers for UEH Nexus Campus in Nha Trang

“With UEH, Top 136 University in Asia, creating Nexus Campus in Nha Trang, reaching new milestones and successes for Vietnamese education”

Participants:

● Graduates or final year students preparing to graduate with (or with the prospect of achieving) Good or Excellent grades from UEH's regular university training programs;

● Graduated with a Master's degree or higher from training programs at UEH or international schools in the Top 500 in the world or Top 200 in Asia (according to prestigious rankings);

● Have an international English certificate, from IELTS 6.0 or equivalent;

● Under 25 years old for candidates with university degrees, under 30 years old for candidates with master's degrees and under 45 years old for candidates with doctoral degrees;

● Commit to work at UEH Nha Trang after being recruited and completing the training period at the main campus for a minimum of 8-12 years depending on the case.

Job positions at UEH Nexus Campus after completing the Management Trainee program:

● Lecturer: Has a master's degree or higher, performs the duties of a lecturer according to UEH regulations and concurrently holds the jobs of functional departments and offices, performs union work and other tasks assigned by the organization (dual-role faculty).

● Teaching Assistant: For candidates who intend to become lecturers but do not currently have a master's degree. After graduating with a master's degree and meeting other prescribed standards, they will be transferred to the professional title of lecturer.

● Specialist: University degree or higher, working in functional departments, performing union work and other tasks assigned by the organization.

Interest

● Scholarships for master's and international research programs up to 400 million VND.

● Total monthly income and income from teaching and research activities must be at least 10 million VND.

● Practical training package at UEH departments.

APPENDIX

Pathway of Lecturer - Trainee Administrator in UEH Global Talent program

After being selected, candidates will work at UEH main campus as trainees under the internship/apprenticeship regime. The training period is systematically designed for 12 months for candidates with a master's degree or higher, or from the time of basic completion of the master's training program for the remaining candidates, with a total time of no more than 24 months.

During the training process, each trainee is invested in comprehensive development by UEH through a Mentor accompanying them throughout and specialized Coaches in each functional department. This professional support helps trainees quickly accumulate practical experience, understand UEH's operating procedures, and be ready to take on the role of lecturer - manager at UEH Nha Trang in the future.

On training and development regime

- Being sent to study and receiving 100% tuition support for master's and doctoral programs taught in English by UEH or internationally associated with UEH from the Vietnam - Netherlands Program (VNP), UEH's MBUS English program or equivalent at the Institute of International Education (ISB), scholarships granted by international partners of COB, CTD, CELG and UEH.

- Participate in short-term training courses to improve capacity suitable for job positions according to current UEH training and development regulations for civil servants and employees.

About working mode

- Receive salary according to State regulations and allowances according to UEH's internal spending regulations corresponding to the internship completion period and the appointment period to the official professional title.

- Enjoy additional income from UEH according to the policy for UEH Nha Trang employees.

- Receive remuneration exceeding the norm for teaching, scientific research, international publication, and other professional activities that generate income according to UEH regulations.
