Standing out with SDG 8 criteria on contributing to decent work and economic growth is in the top 9 on this ranking.

THE Impact Rankings is a renowned global assessment system that evaluates the contribution of universities around the world to the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (17 Sustainable Development Goals/017 SDGs), based on 4 factors: research, management, access and integration of SDGs into university teaching activities.

According to the latest results, UEH continues to rank in the top 301-400 universities in the world, leading universities in Vietnam.

In particular, UEH is in the top 9 universities contributing to SDG 8 (employment and economic growth), top 30 in SDG 5 (gender equality), and top 100 in SDG 17 (partnership for development goals)...

This ranking, for the first time, UEH achieved high global rankings in two key university environment goals: SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 5 (Gender Equality), affirming the modern and transparent governance environment, which has been the launching pad for all development milestones of UEH over the past 50 years.

In SDG 17 (partnership for sustainable development), UEH has increased by more than 500 places compared to 2024. This is reflected in the effort to expand multi-dimensional cooperation with domestic and foreign partners.

“This is the strategic direction that UEH has been, is, and will pursue, gradually contributing Vietnamese higher education to the global university map,” Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Quang Hung emphasized.
