The enrollment quota from high school transcripts of Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry this year is about 25-30%, a decrease of 10% compared to last year.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry announced on January 16 that in 2024, the school will enroll nearly 5,100 students for 36 training majors. Of which, the main campus in Ho Chi Minh City will enroll nearly 4,500 people, the rest will be at the Gia Lai and Binh Thuan branches.
The school's five admission methods include direct admission and priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , considering academic records (25-30%), high school graduation exam scores (50-55%), competency assessment results organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University (10-15%) and admission combined with IELTS, TOEFL certificates and graduation exam scores (5-10%).
Compared to last year, the quota for the transcript review method has decreased by about 10%. Candidates applying using this method at the main office must have an average score of 6 or higher for each subject in the admission combination of 5 semesters (grades 10, 11 and semester I of grade 12). At the two branches, the school considers the total score of the three subjects in the combination, the acceptance level is 18 points.
The second new point is that for the first time, Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry considers combining English certificates and graduation exam scores. Candidates can use IELTS certificates from 5.0 and TOEFL ITP from 470 or higher, valid until June 1, to convert scores for the English subject in the combination.
