Hanoi National University has announced the equivalence table between the competency assessment test scores (HSA) and the high school graduation exam scores of the groups A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), C00 (Literature, History, Geography), D01 (Math, Literature, English) in 2025.
This is the basis for universities to consider admission based on HSA scores or to create a conversion table suitable for each school's admission requirements. This is also useful information for candidates to refer to before making their application.
Analysis by Hanoi National University shows that 129/150 HSA exam scores are equivalent to 30 A00 combination points, 29.5 B00 and C00 points, and 27.75 D01 points. Candidates with 111 HSA points are in the top 1% of candidates with the highest scores. Similarly, candidates with 28.5 A00 points and 25.75 D01 points are also in this top 1%.

Hanoi National University has also announced the minimum score for university admission in 2025. Accordingly, Hanoi National University accepts the registration score for admission based on the high school graduation exam score in 2025 as 19 points, down 1 point compared to 2024. This minimum score has not been multiplied by the coefficient, including regional and subject priority points, if any.
With the HSA assessment results, the candidates' original score on the 150 scale will be converted to the equivalent of the 30 scale. Based on this floor level, schools under Hanoi National University will announce their own floor scores before July 21, except for the health and teacher training sectors, which must follow the threshold set by the Ministry of Education and Training . With other admission methods, schools under Hanoi National University will convert and announce later.
In 2025, 12 member/affiliated universities of Hanoi National University will enroll more than 20,000 full-time university students. The school uses admission methods such as: Direct admission and priority admission; admission based on high school graduation exam results; results of Hanoi National University's capacity assessment exam.
