The first Congress of the Party Committee of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee, term 2025-2030

On the afternoon of August 15, 2025, at the Provincial Cultural Conference Center, the first Congress of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term was officially held. Comrade Tran Quoc Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee attended and directed the congress.

In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee has strived to successfully implement the set political goals and tasks. The economy has maintained growth momentum, and the structure has shifted in the right direction. In 2025, the total provincial product (GRDP) is estimated to reach more than 17,200 billion VND, an average increase of 8.76% per year, exceeding the resolution target by 1.76 percentage points; GRDP per capita is estimated at 54 million VND, an increase of more than 62% compared to 2020. Administrative reform and improvement of the investment and business environment have received attention from leaders, direction, and synchronous implementation from the provincial to grassroots levels and have had many positive changes. Socio-economic infrastructure, especially transportation, urban areas, and services, has received investment attention and been gradually completed...

The work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system has been led, directed and implemented with high determination. During the term, the Party Committee has admitted more than 980 new Party members. The apparatus of Party agencies, provincial government agencies, and two-level government agencies have been streamlined to ensure smooth, efficient, effective and efficient operations in accordance with the direction of the Central and Provincial Party Committees...

The Congress voted to pass the Resolution of the First Congress of the Party Committee of the People's Committee of Dien Bien Province with 4 main groups of targets in various fields; 9 key tasks; 5 breakthroughs and specific solutions for implementation. 100% of the delegates voted to pass the Resolution of the First Congress of the Party Committee of the People's Committee of Dien Bien Province, term 2025 - 2030.

The Congress also announced the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing a delegation of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee to attend the 15th Dien Bien Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, including 18 comrades.
