The 2026 Haval Raptor PHEV is rugged and fuel-efficient, costing only 636 million VND

The new Haval Raptor PHEV has been launched with design and technology upgrades, and the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain has some changes.

Great Wall Motor officially launched the 2026 Haval Raptor PHEV (Raptor Hi4) in China. This new model has 3 configurations Pro, Ultra and Ultra Navigator divided into 6 different versions depending on the powertrain.

The new Haval Raptor PHEV has been launched with design and technology upgrades, along with a few changes to the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain. In terms of appearance, the car has square headlights with a slightly smaller grille, a rectangular black mesh face.

The full-width 1,088mm light strip running vertically below the "HAVAL" logo has been replaced at the rear with a "GWM" badge. The taillights have been switched from two separate square clusters to a single LED cluster with 300 red LED beads.

Exterior details such as the exposed rivets on the black wheel arches, the side-opening tailgate, the roof rails and the side ladder remain unchanged from the previous version. The car is equipped with a new set of 19-inch black multi-spoke wheels, with Chaoyang 225/60 R19 tires.

A new Mint Green color option has been added to the 2026 Haval Raptor PHEV, joining the existing White, Ink Grey, Black and Cloud Grey color options.

The upgraded interior includes a new two-spoke steering wheel, a column-mounted gearshift lever, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 14.6-inch central touchscreen running Coffee OS 3. The infotainment system supports Huawei HiCar, ICCOA Carlink, and Honor CarLink.

The front seats are electrically adjustable, heated and ventilated, while the rear seats can recline from 27° to 32°. Additional interior features include a panoramic sunroof, rear sunblinds, a W-HUD head-up display and an optional rear differential lock depending on the version.

The 2026 Haval Raptor PHEV comes in Pro, Ultra, and Ultra Navigator trims. Pro includes rear parking radar, a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, 50W wireless charging, ventilated and heated front seats, with optional W-HUD and rear differential lock. Ultra adds standard W-HUD, rear differential lock, a heated steering wheel, additional speakers, single-color ambient interior lighting, an air quality management system, and plasma ionization.

Ultra Navigator includes multiple front, rear and fisheye cameras, front radar, rear corner radar, 12 ultrasonic sensors and 32TOPS TDA4VH chip, enabling highway speed control (NOA) (0–150km/h), adaptive cruise control and full-memory parking assist. The spare tire must be selected to be able to configure this.

The new Haval Raptor is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine (GW4B15M) combined with a P2+P4 dual-motor system. Compared to the previous GW4B15E 1.5T engine, the maximum power is reduced from 123kW to 115kW, while the rear motor reaches 150kW. The total system power reaches 330kW or 442 horsepower with 750Nm of torque, helping the car accelerate from 0–100km/h in 5.9 seconds.

The new 35.43kWh triple-cell lithium battery pack gives the CLTC an all-electric range of up to 200km (WLTC 151km). The previous 18.74kWh and 27.54kWh battery packs are expected to remain, giving the CLTC an all-electric range of 102km and 145km (WLTC 81km and 115km) respectively.

The vehicle is equipped with 7 driving modes: standard, eco, sport , snow, mud, sand and four-wheel drive, supported by the Hi4 intelligent torque distribution system and updated snow and ice algorithm, which improves the accuracy of current and torque by 6.5% and reduces mode switching time by 25% during skidding.

In the Chinese market, the price of the new Haval Raptor PHEV 2026 starts from 173,800 to 208,800 yuan depending on the version (equivalent to 636.8 to 765.1 million dong). It is unclear whether this model will be available in the Vietnamese market or not?
