The Congress has special significance when adjusting the term of office according to the general policy of the Central Youth Union, in the context of the entire political system being determined to implement Resolution 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Central Executive Committee on continuing to innovate and streamline the apparatus, operating effectively and efficiently; while ensuring unity and synchronization with the plan to organize Congresses at all levels.
During the last term, PTSC G&S Youth Union had 67 members in 3 branches, 4 outstanding members were admitted to the Party and many Youth Union officials became adults. Youth Union members participated in major projects of PTTEPI, Rosneft Vietnam BV..., with many effective initiatives. Regarding social security, the Youth Union has implemented activities such as tree planting, blood donation, environmental sanitation, and support for compatriots; typically, the project of 100 yellow canary trees at the 251st Naval Regiment. In addition, the sports and arts movement has been maintained regularly, attracting many members, achieving many high awards at sports and performances organized by PTSC Corporation.
The Congress agreed on the goals for the 2025-2030 term: improving the quality of the Youth Union organization, promoting the pioneering and creative spirit of the youth, linking the Youth Union activities with production and business tasks, making practical contributions to the overall development of PTSC G&S. In addition to the achieved results, the political report presented to the Congress also frankly pointed out the remaining limitations and at the same time proposed solutions to overcome them, thereby creating the premise for stronger innovation in the coming period.
Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Mai Huynh Chi Cuong, Standing Committee of Youth Union of PTSC Corporation, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that PTSC G&S youth had achieved in the recent past. He emphasized: under the attention and direction of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors, PTSC G&S Youth Union has become a vanguard force, making an important contribution to the overall success of the Youth Union movement of the entire corporation. In addition, to improve the efficiency of operations in the coming period, he suggested that the grassroots Youth Union promote communication work, expand the scale and enhance the spread of youth projects and works, thereby continuing to affirm the prestige and image of PTSC G&S.
The Congress also listened to the direction of comrade Truong Tuan Nghia, Party Secretary, Director of PTSC G&S. He emphasized the need to continue promoting Youth Union activities, affirming that PTSC G&S youth is always a pioneering, creative force, not afraid of difficulties and challenges. Leaders at all levels believe that with the spirit of solidarity and dedication, youth union members will continue to promote their role, accompanying PTSC G&S on the journey of sustainable development.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the 4th term consisting of 5 comrades, in which comrade Ngo Minh Truong was trusted to hold the position of Secretary of the Youth Union. At the same time, the Congress also elected a delegation to attend the 5th Congress of the Youth Union of Vietnam Oil and Gas Technical Services Joint Stock Corporation, term 2025-2030. With the high consensus of 100% of the delegates, the Congress Resolution was passed, becoming the guideline for the Youth Union's activities in the next 5 years.
The 4th Congress of PTSC G&S Youth Union was successfully held in an atmosphere of excitement, solidarity and high determination. With the spirit of "Pioneering - Solidarity - Enthusiasm - Creativity", PTSC G&S youth are ready to promote their intelligence and enthusiasm, thereby making practical contributions to the sustainable development of the unit and PTSC Corporation.
