Police colonel writes book 'Popular Education AI'

Colonel, Dr. Huynh Ngoc Liem, Deputy Director of the Lam Dong Provincial Police, along with two authors, Vo Duc Truong and Nguyen Thuy Mien, have just published the book 'Popular Education AI'.

The book "Popular Education on AI" (People's Police Publishing House) was published in the context of society entering the era of artificial intelligence (AI) and Lam Dong province and many other localities implementing the "digital popular education" movement.

According to Colonel, Dr. Huynh Ngoc Liem (Deputy Director of Lam Dong Provincial Police), the book "AI for the People ," which he co-authored with two other authors - Master Vo Duc Truong and Master Nguyen Thuy Mien - is a "simple book that can help anyone, even those not skilled in technology, apply artificial intelligence to their lives today."

According to Mr. Huynh Ngoc Liem, after much research, accumulation of experience, and practical application, the authors want to share their experience in developing and applying AI with all segments of society. Therefore, the book is not only for managers and civil servants, but also for teachers, students, and even small business owners or farmers... who can easily apply AI.

Notably, the book's co-authors, Vo Duc Truong and Nguyen Thuy Mien, are not artificial intelligence experts, but rather professionals working in the banking sector.

The authors are presenters in the artificial intelligence application training course organized by the Ministry of Public Security .

Both authors are currently the director and deputy director of a bank branch in Lam Dong province. They have conducted research, participated in practical applications, and guided the application of artificial intelligence in various professional fields, including courses from the Ministry of Public Security, the former Binh Thuan Provincial Police, the Lam Dong Provincial Police, the insurance industry, and the banking sector.

According to Master's degree holder Vo Duc Truong, the research team will soon target border and island communes such as Quang Truc, Thuan An, and the Phu Quy special economic zone... to share AI applications with civil servants and officials; especially those who directly handle administrative procedures for citizens and businesses.

Meanwhile, Master's student Nguyen Thuy Mien stated that the initial success of the research team in applying artificial intelligence is a foundation for the entire team to pursue even greater aspirations. This includes applying AI to scientific innovation, especially in agricultural science, particularly high-tech agriculture, which is a strength in Lam Dong province.

According to the authors, the proceeds from the sale of the book "Popular Education AI" will be donated to a fund for underprivileged children and used to provide scholarships for disadvantaged students in remote areas of the locality.
