Before playing the final piece, he humorously said: "I will perform a long piece but not too long... The piece is called "The Last Rose of Summer". This is the right time to play this piece of music."

Shlomo Mintz's solo performances received a thunderous applause lasting 3-4 minutes in the second part of the program. Rarely has a classical musician received such great applause from the Vietnamese audience.
