In the past time, Captain Chau Minh Cao has compiled many suitable contents and solutions to apply training, practice, and guide soldiers to use, disassemble, preserve, and effectively use weapons, promote the improvement of training quality, and ensure good protection of border security and sovereignty. Captain Chau Minh Cao said: "I myself clearly determined to study documents and advise on the implementation of military training content and tactics that are close to the requirements of serving at the border."
Captain Chau Minh Cao also focused on identifying the regular construction of discipline training to improve the quality of training and combat readiness as an important and regular task. The training content of the units was thoroughly grasped and implemented synchronously and comprehensively. Regarding the implementation of local tasks, Captain Chau Minh Cao proposed a positive orientation to research and innovate forms and methods, closely following the requirements of the tasks and the actual situation of the stationed units. Accordingly, the patrols had close coordination with the forces of the National Border Marker Self-Management Team. Captain Chau Minh Cao himself coordinated well the border patrols over 240 times; coordinated with military forces, union members, and youth to participate in many meaningful tasks, social security work, prevention and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, contributing to helping people stabilize production and develop the economy in the border areas.

With his own efforts, Captain Chau Minh Cao has achieved many achievements, has been a party member who has excellently completed his tasks for many consecutive years, won the title of "Outstanding Young Face of the Land of Red Lotus in 2024" and many awards in technical initiatives, sports, and youth union activities. In particular, he was recently commended for 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05 of the 12th Politburo on outstanding achievements in studying Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. This is an honor and a motivation for Captain Chau Minh Cao to continue to strive to be a shining example in studying and following Uncle Ho.
