Dak Lak: Murder because of jealousy

On August 25, Ea Kar District Police ( Dak Lak Province) said they had handed over Nguyen Duy Hoang (born in 1989, residing in Village 5, Cu Ni Commune) to the Criminal Police Department, Dak Lak Provincial Police to investigate the murder.

According to initial information, at around 7:30 p.m. on August 24, Ms. LTC (born in 1983, residing in Cu Ni commune, Ea Kar district) and some other people came to the house of Mr. TDT (born in 1981, residing in village 5, Cu Ni commune) to play.

At about 9:15 p.m. the same day, Mrs. C. drove her son home and saw Nguyen Duy Hoang holding two knives in his hands. Hoang stood in front of the car, blocking Mrs. C. from leaving.

Seeing that, Mrs. C. told Hoang "get out of the way so I can go home." At the same time, the people present called Mr. T. out to stop Hoang. However, when Mr. T. just came out, Hoang chased him with a knife, so he ran into the house. At this time, Mrs. C. was backing up the car to prepare to go in another direction when suddenly Hoang knocked her to the ground. Here, Hoang used a knife to stab Mrs. C.

Police arrested Hoang

At that moment, everyone shouted and tried to stop Hoang's actions to save Mrs. C. When Hoang ran away, everyone came to check and discovered that Mrs. C. had died. After committing the crime, Hoang escaped into the plantation area and was arrested by Ea Kar District Police.

According to the people, Hoang had feelings for Ms. C. but was rejected. Seeing Ms. C. come to Mr. T.'s house, Hoang got jealous and caused the incident.

The case is being handled by the Criminal Police Department, Dak Lak Provincial Police according to their authority.
