Dak Nong ranks 3rd in the country in promulgating regulations to implement the Land Law.

According to Mr. Minh, up to this point, Dak Nong ranks 3rd in the country after An Giang and Hai Duong provinces and leads the 5 Central Highlands provinces in promulgating regulations to implement the Land Law.

Deputy Director of Dak Nong Department of Natural Resources and Environment Vo Van Minh informed about the progress of promulgating regulations implementing the Land Law at the regular press conference on Dak Nong's socio -economic situation in the first 9 months of 2024.

The Land Law stipulates the authority to assign the Provincial People's Council and Provincial People's Committee to prescribe many new contents that were not previously included in the 2013 Land Law. To implement the law, on August 6, 2024, the Provincial People's Committee issued a document assigning the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to urgently advise the Provincial People's Committee to promulgate contents within its authority.

According to Minh, although there were delays and shortcomings, before, during and after the Land Law took effect, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment took action.

Before the law took effect, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue Plan 285 to implement the Land Law in Dak Nong. Immediately after the plan was issued, on May 21, 2024, the Provincial People's Committee organized a training conference to disseminate the 2024 Land Law.

Currently, the Provincial People's Committee is urging relevant departments, branches and localities to promote the dissemination of the 2024 Land Law. Dak Nong continues to review, develop and promulgate legal documents under the authority of the locality, contributing to resolving difficulties and obstacles in implementing the 2024 Land Law in the province.
