Attending the workshop were Dr. Dinh Van Tien, Deputy Director of the Institute of Transport Science and Technology; Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen, leaders of a number of provincial and municipal departments of transport, along with departments, branches, localities and a number of enterprises in Dak Nong .

Speaking at the workshop, Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen said that Dak Nong has always been consistent with the Party's policy that "science and technology are a breakthrough in building modern and synchronous infrastructure, creating a foundation to promote the development of new industries and fields, especially digital economy, digital society and digital government", including the transport sector.
The Resolution of the 12th Dak Nong Provincial Party Congress identified “development of transport infrastructure as one of the three breakthroughs of the province”. To concretize and implement the resolutions, the province has issued plans for construction and development of transport.

However, Dak Nong's transportation system has not yet received synchronous investment in technology, connectivity is not yet favorable, and many new technologies and materials have not been applied in construction and traffic management.
Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen hopes that delegates will propose solutions to create a ripple effect so that all businesses and scientific research management units can constantly innovate and bring practical technology to the construction and management of the transport sector.

Representatives of the Institute of Transport Science and Technology presented scientific reports such as: Risk of natural disaster incidents and application of new technology to manage and minimize risks; application of the balance principle in designing asphalt concrete mixtures as road surface layers in major transport projects; research on the current status and causes of landslides on Ho Chi Minh road...
Delegates also raised many questions related to improving the quality of traffic works, landslides and subsidence on roads, etc.
Delegates are interested in the legality, funding, procedures, etc. of applying scientific and technological research to practice.

Dr. Dinh Van Tien and members of the Institute of Transport Science and Technology had discussions and answered questions from delegates.
According to Director of Dak Nong Department of Transport Nguyen Nhan Ban, the workshop aims to disseminate some new technologies and new materials of the industry so that transport management units and businesses can access and equip themselves with more knowledge...

From there, the units gradually applied in investment and management of transport infrastructure, contributing to improving the quality of management and construction. After the conference, delegates need to continue studying the documents and knowledge provided to effectively apply in practice.
