The Department of Natural Resources and Environment will strengthen inspection and supervision of compliance with regulations on land leveling and land destruction to strictly handle according to regulations.

Localities organize inspections and reviews along traffic routes passing through areas with complex terrain, promptly detect and strictly handle cases of illegal land leveling and construction, and request restoration of the current status to limit impacts on traffic works.

Monitor and urge units to perform their tasks and summarize and report results according to regulations.

Previously, on the Ho Chi Minh road section through Quang Tin commune, Dak R'lap district, there were some subsidence and landslides on the negative slope side. This is a road section with strongly divided terrain and is one of the black spots in terms of traffic safety. The subsidence locations are all areas with large blocks of leveled land, formed during the illegal leveling process of the people.
