Dak Nong promotes TFP growth

On the morning of January 14, Dak Nong Department of Science and Technology coordinated with Dong Tien Science and Technology Company Limited to organize a scientific seminar "Promoting the contribution of science, technology and innovation to TFP growth in Dak Nong province".

Representative of Dak Nong Department of Agriculture and Rural Development informed about the growth factors of the industry

In the period 2026-2030, TFP will contribute 56% to Dak Nong's economic growth. In particular, the role of key industrial projects, especially the bauxite-aluminum industrial complex and renewable energy as well as the application of technology in agriculture, will be highlighted.

The discussion is part of the provincial science and technology task "Research on improving the productivity index of total factors associated with economic development of Dak Nong province to 2025, with a vision to 2030". The task is chaired by Dong Tien Science and Technology Company Limited.

Dr. Phi Thi Hong Linh, Head of the task force, provided more information on the TFP forecasts that will contribute to Dak Nong's economic growth.

The task is divided into 2 phases. Including: general research, process, calculation formula, survey and data set development; assessment of current status, potential of science and technology and innovation, proposing solutions to promote science and technology activities and innovation to enhance the role of TFP index in the economic growth of the province.

Leaders of Dak Nong Department of Science and Technology said that TFP is one of the most accurate and general indicators reflecting the efficiency of capital and labor use in the locality.
