Ensuring electricity supply for political events.

In addition to meeting the electricity needs for production, business, and daily life of the people, Phu Tho Power Company focuses on implementing timely and safe power supply plans for major political and social events taking place in the province.

The Remote Control Center ( Phu Tho Power Company) monitors the operating status of the medium and high voltage power grids on the system, contributing to improving the quality and reliability of electricity supply.

Forecasts for 2025 indicate that commercial electricity output in the province will reach approximately 4.7 billion kWh, a 13.7% increase compared to 2024. The highest daily electricity output is projected at 16.5 million kWh, an 11.2% increase compared to 2024. Facing increasing electricity demand, Phu Tho Power Company is proactively developing a suitable electricity supply plan, prioritizing power supply for important socio-political events and electricity users on the priority list approved by the Provincial People's Committee.

In 2025, the province will host important socio-political events such as: Hung Kings Commemoration Day - Hung Temple Festival; high school graduation exams; the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam on April 30th, the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution, and National Day on September 2nd... To ensure the continuous and successful running of these events, Phu Tho Power Company directs its subordinate units to strengthen inspections, reviews, and timely handling of existing problems and defects on the power grid; proactively develop rational power source and grid operation plans to ensure electricity supply to event venues.

Each event has different characteristics, scale, and location, so when planning power supply, the company always carefully prepares contingency plans and promptly switches to flexible power supply methods in case of grid failures.

During the upcoming Hung Kings Commemoration Day - Hung Temple Festival and the Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week in 2025, Phu Tho Power Company has prepared a plan to ensure safe power supply. Mr. Pham Van Chuc, Deputy Director of Phu Tho Power Company, stated: “To ensure the safe, stable, and reliable operation of the power grid in the province to serve political, cultural, and social activities during the Hung Kings Commemoration Day, Phu Tho Power Company has developed a power supply plan and established a rational wiring method with the highest level of safety for the power grid. This includes focusing on ensuring safe and continuous power supply in the Hung Temple area and locations hosting activities serving the Hung Kings Commemoration Day, such as the opening art program of the Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week 2025, fireworks displays, and other cultural, sports , and tourism activities.”

In parallel with ensuring power supply for events, the company also emphasized strengthening operational discipline, protecting security and occupational safety, and preventing fires and explosions. At the same time, it required its subordinate power companies to coordinate closely with local authorities and event organizers to ascertain the time and location of the events, thereby arranging appropriate power supply methods; assigning on-call workers throughout the event days; and preparing sufficient materials and equipment to handle any incidents or emergencies that may arise.

Proactive operational management and thorough preparation of contingency plans are crucial factors in ensuring a stable and continuous power supply for important political and social events in the province in 2025.
