Ensuring effective, timely and on-schedule implementation of the Capital Law 2024

Kinhtedothi - On December 19, the Office of the Hanoi People's Committee issued Document No. 593/TB-VP announcing the conclusion of the Standing Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Le Hong Son at the meeting on evaluating the results of implementing the 2024 Capital Law and implementing a peak propaganda campaign on the Capital Law.

Accordingly, to ensure effective, timely and on-schedule implementation of the law from January 1, 2025 - the date the Capital Law officially takes effect, regarding the work of drafting documents to implement the Capital Law, the City People's Committee requests the departments, branches and units assigned to focus on reviewing, completing and submitting draft Resolutions that have not been completed in 2024, focusing on reviewing, completing, registering and clearly proposing the progress and deadline for submission for promulgation in 2025, ensuring that the content of the documents is consistent with the new laws passed by the National Assembly at the 8th and 9th Sessions of the National Assembly and legal regulations.

Along with that, assign the Departments of Home Affairs, Science & Technology,Education & Training, Planning & Investment; Hanoi Institute of Construction Planning to urgently coordinate closely with units of relevant ministries and branches to submit for promulgation legal documents of the Government.

Regarding the implementation of the peak period of propaganda for the Capital Law 2024, the City People's Committee assigned the Department of Justice to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Information and Communications, Hanoi Radio and Television, Hanoi Moi Newspaper, Economic and Urban Newspaper and related units to develop a plan to implement the peak period of propaganda for the Capital Law, focusing from the date the Law takes effect until the end of the first quarter of 2025.

The City People's Committee requested that the propaganda plan for the peak period focus on the time when the Law takes effect, implementing the propaganda of Directive No. 37-CT/TU of the Hanoi Party Committee; coordinating with press and media agencies to diversify the forms and content of propaganda, reaching all classes of people; promoting propaganda on digital platforms and social networks.

In addition, the Departments of Home Affairs, Justice, Planning - Architecture, Natural Resources & Environment, Finance; and the Management Board of Hoa Lac High-Tech Parks were assigned to develop training materials on the Resolutions on implementing the Capital Law passed at the 19th and 20th Sessions of the City People's Council.
