BHG - The picture of Xin Man agriculture has become more and more vivid and brighter with the colors of agricultural raw material areas with the association of enterprises and cooperatives that consume products and export to the world market. To achieve the above outstanding results, it is the effort and drastic participation of local Party committees and authorities in issuing policies and policies to invite, open up and attract investment. At the same time, the consensus of the ethnic people in concretizing the policies to bring Xin Man agriculture step by step to affirm its value to domestic consumers and reach out to foreign markets.

Located in the West of the province, Xin Man district has the most difficult socio-economic conditions in the province. In particular, the traffic system has been partly invested thanks to the support of the State but in general is not synchronized. People's lives are mainly agricultural production with the poverty rate accounting for nearly 45%. In previous years, the agricultural sector of Xin Man district encountered many difficulties in finding product outputs, linking raw material areas for commodity production... Identifying difficulties and gradually overcoming limitations in agricultural production, determined to bring Xin Man out of the extremely difficult district, the Resolution of the District Party Congress for the term 2020 - 2025 has identified 3 breakthroughs, focusing on developing agriculture according to the value chain, improving people's lives, and bringing Xin Man district to rapid and sustainable poverty reduction.

In order to concretize the set targets and at the same time develop plans to implement the task of developing commodity agriculture, over the past time, local Party committees and authorities have always been concerned and sought solutions to overcome difficulties and exploit local potentials. Based on the analysis and assessment of agricultural development advantages such as large arable land fund, climate divided into many different sub-regions, so it is suitable for developing raw material planning for each specific region... The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and the District Party Committee identified agricultural development according to the value chain as a breakthrough of the Resolution of the District Party Congress for the term 2020 - 2025. Along with that, issue specialized resolutions and action programs as a basis for implementation. On the other hand, the district directs specialized sectors to strengthen propaganda and promote local potentials and difficulties. Organize meetings and sign cooperation agreements with reputable and potential enterprises to connect and call for investment in the district.
From 2022 to present, Xin Man district has cooperated with Misaki Vietnam Co., Ltd. to grow and purchase radishes for export. After 2 years of signing the cooperation agreement, the Company decided to invest in building a processing factory in Nan Ma commune and cooperate with local people to grow radishes for export to the Japanese market. In early 2023, the first 18 tons of pickled radishes with the flavor of Xin Man land were successfully exported to the Japanese market. Following that success, in 2023, 5 shipments of pickled radishes were packaged and exported to the "Land of the Rising Sun". Up to now, the fact that an agricultural product in poor Xin Man district was exported to Japan for the first time is still a "miracle" and creates a major turning point for agricultural products of the "Western Melody" land. The results achieved have contributed to strengthening people's trust in the policies of the Party Committee and the government. Since then, the raw material areas have been gradually expanded with a close connection between the interests of the people and the enterprises that purchase the products. Many agricultural raw material areas for export through the connection with Misaki Vietnam Co., Ltd. have been established throughout the communes and towns such as: Radish in Xin Man and Nan Ma communes; pickled shallots and buffalo ginger in Nan Ma, Coc Pai and Ta Nhiu towns... Thereby, increasing the average income for farmers from 60 to 80 million VND/crop.
Not stopping there, with the investment attraction policy implemented appropriately, in 2023, many enterprises and cooperatives boldly invested in the agricultural sector of Xin Man district with specific scale, goals and development orientations. The district continued to sign many coordination programs, forming agricultural value production linkage chains, integrating and combining with the capital of the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021 - 2025. Thanks to that, 5 value chain linkage models have been formed, bringing economic efficiency to the people, typically: Organic vegetable growing model with Good Agriculture Joint Stock Company - Phu Tho linking nearly 20 households in Nan Ma and Xin Man communes for an average income of 20 - 30 million VND/crop per household; cold-water fish farming linkage model of Dai An and Van Loc cooperatives in 2 communes of Nam Dan and Quang Nguyen; The purebred goat breeding model of Tien Thanh High-Tech Cooperative... The project of linking the planting and consumption of baby cucumber products in Na Chi and Khuon Lung communes. The project of planting Bat Do bamboo shoots for export in association with Misaki Vietnam Co., Ltd. is being implemented in Ban Ngo, Nam Dan communes and 3 southern communes of the district including Na Chi, Quang Nguyen, Khuon Lung.
The formation of value chains has promoted the potential strengths of local agriculture, concretizing the Resolution of the District Party Congress. Forming value chains, bringing agricultural production to a larger scale, actively contributing to changing awareness from small-scale, fragmented production to commodity production. The goal is to increase income for local people, bringing truly sustainable agricultural development.
