According to The Sun , Sweeney received a series of flirtatious messages from players from Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal. Some were even considered too persistent, leading to a feeling of harassment.
“She gets a lot of messages on Instagram from famous players, mostly invitations to Europe to meet or date. But Sydney is not interested in that kind of approach,” the source revealed.
Some players have even reportedly tried to get her address to send her flowers – an act that has forced the actress to actively distance herself. “Some have been very persistent, but she has always refused. When they cross the line, Sydney is ready to block them immediately,” the source added.
While most of these invitations don’t bother Sweeney, she’s not afraid to push back if she feels disrespected. “Recently, a recently divorced American actor approached her and she turned him down.
