Informing the Vietnamese community in Egypt about the domestic situation, the President said that after nearly 40 years of Doi Moi, Vietnam is confidently entering a new era, an era of strong and prosperous development of the nation, striving to become a developing country with modern industry and high average income by 2030, and by 2045, become a developed country with high income.

To achieve these accomplishments and realize the two 100-year strategic goals, the President emphasized that, in addition to the political determination of the Party and State leaders and the efforts of the entire political system, it is also necessary to have the unity of the people at home and the joint efforts of our compatriots abroad. In recent times, the Party and State have issued many important and groundbreaking strategic decisions. The entire Vietnamese political system has carried out a revolution in restructuring and streamlining the apparatus; the Politburo has issued four groundbreaking strategic resolutions on the "four pillars," propelling our country forward into the new era.

The President expressed his confidence that the Vietnamese community would continue to uphold the patriotic tradition, work together to build a strong and prosperous community, abide by the law, integrate well into the local society, and make positive contributions to the development of Egypt as well as the friendly relations between the two countries; while preserving the Vietnamese language and traditional culture of the nation, passing it on to future generations.
