Misses Doan Thien An, Luong Thuy Linh, Kieu Duy, and King Tuan Ngoc recently attended the flag-raising ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. They, on behalf of the young generation, expressed their emotional feelings about patriotism.
Emotional moment at the historic port
The flag-raising ceremony "I love my Fatherland" took place this morning in a solemn and proud atmosphere at Thu Ngu Flagpole - Bach Dang Wharf Park, Ho Chi Minh City.
The ceremony attracted the attention of many union members, young people, along with many artists, writers and celebrities, including Miss Luong Thuy Linh - Miss World Vietnam 2019, Miss Doan Thien An - Miss Grand Vietnam 2022, Nguyen Ngoc Kieu Duy - Miss Vietnam 2024 and Pham Tuan Ngoc - Mr World Vietnam 2024. The Misses and Kings contributed to bringing the image of enthusiastic, dedicated young people and expressing the spirit of love for the Fatherland.
In pure white ao dai, with scarves printed with the bright red national flag, the beauty queens showed off their elegant and graceful beauty, but still exuded pride, solemnity and patriotism. Luong Thuy Linh and Doan Thien An said they both arrived very early, with excitement and emotion at being able to participate in a sacred ceremony.

Wearing the same white ao dai, Miss Kieu Duy wore the badge “My beloved Fatherland” with the symbol to celebrate the great occasion of National Day September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025. She brought the simple but gentle image of a Vietnamese girl, and enthusiastically responded to the songs sung together with the young people participating in the ceremony.
Meanwhile, different from his usual elegant and mature appearance, King Tuan Ngoc chose to wear a youth union uniform, blending into the atmosphere of the ceremony.
In addition to the flag-raising ceremony, the program also featured heroic performances expressing love for the homeland and country. Hundreds of union members and young people sang the National Anthem in unison, creating an emotional moment at the historic port - a place that witnessed many important milestones of Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City.
The image of the elegant beauty queens in ao dai, gracefully flowing with the red flag with yellow star has become a beautiful highlight, conveying the message that every Vietnamese person always shares a love, a pride and a promise to the Fatherland.

What does Vietnamese beauty say about patriotism?
Speaking at the event, Miss Luong Thuy Linh emotionally expressed: “Every time I hear the National Anthem, my heart flutters with an emotion that is difficult to describe. It is both a source of pride and a motivation to remind myself to live more responsibly, not only for myself but also for the community and the country.”
Miss Doan Thien An also could not hide her emotion: "An believes that love for the Fatherland is not only expressed in sacred moments like today's flag-raising ceremony, but also in every small daily action , from studying, working hard to preserving Vietnamese cultural identity."
“As a young person living and enjoying the peace of the present, every joy, every happiness, every time witnessing the country's innovations is a time for Duy to appreciate more the great contributions of our ancestors, of the heroic soldiers who have fallen. Today's country is connected, today's happiness will be the motivation to step firmly into tomorrow" - those are the shares of Miss Kieu Duy after participating in today's meaningful activities.

King Tuan Ngoc agreed and expressed his youthful spirit: “Ngoc thinks that the job of young people is not only to be grateful and acknowledge the previous generations who sacrificed for the independence and peace of the present, but also to train themselves, constantly learn and strive to develop day by day, become a useful element for society, and contribute to the transformation and integration of the country.”
It can be said that the "I love my Fatherland" flag-raising ceremony is not only an opportunity to remind the young generation of their civic responsibilities, but also to spread the spirit of solidarity, the desire to contribute and the belief in a strong Vietnam.
The images of young, beautiful, intellectual and enthusiastic beauty queens and kings appearing at the event contributed to strongly inspiring young people, affirming the role of young people in the journey of building the country. That appearance not only represents Vietnamese beauty, but also depicts the image of young people: confident, integrated but always keeping national pride in their hearts./.
