To commemorate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd, Hanoi Radio and Television Station produced the second episode of the program "Flow of Time - Songs That Accompany the Years," with the theme "Homeland and Love," on the evening of August 24th.

" The Timeline - Songs That Accompany the Years, with the theme of 'Homeland and Love,' will feature works expressing love for one's homeland, a sacred and noble feeling for every patriotic heart."
"Whether in times of peace or war, that love retains its value and remains unchanged, growing stronger in our subconscious, thoughts, and souls, eventually transforming into a tremendous driving force that helps each of us strive and contribute to the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland," shared Colonel and musician Ho Trong Tuan.
Director Ngo Thanh further shared: "The highlight of the program is the interaction with the author of the theme song - 'Land of Love' - female musician Tran Le Giang, who is currently living in Edinburgh (Scotland).
Also at the program, for the first time, a special version of the song "Homeland of Love" was performed through a "dialogue" between the late Meritorious Artist Thuy Lan and her daughter, artist Dinh Lan Huong - Head of the Vocal Department at the Hanoi College of Arts. Based on the vocals extracted from the first recording by the Voice of Vietnam radio station 44 years ago, the duet by the two singers, mother and daughter, two generations of artists…
In addition, the serenade " Homeland Afternoon " composed for violin by musician Nguyen Thi Nhung will be performed by pianists Bui Dang Khanh, cellist Bui Ha Mien, and violinist Tran Quang Duy.
Timeline - Songs That Accompany the Years is a program that has made a mark on viewers. Following the success of the previous season, Timeline - Songs That Accompany the Years, episode 2-2024, returns with the creative vision of director Ngo Thanh and his team.
The program took place at Studio S5 of Hanoi Radio and Television Station, and was broadcast live on Channel 1, FM96 radio, the Hanoi On app, and other digital platforms of Hanoi Radio and Television Station.
