Vietnamese and international artists participate in the music night "Quang Tri memories bloom"

On June 18, the Organizing Committee of the program "Melody of Peace - Quang Tri memories bloom" had an introduction session in Ho Chi Minh City. The program was implemented by the Vietnam - Korea Cultural and Economic Industry Association in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri province and other agencies and departments.

The music night consists of 2 parts: Part 1 " Quang Tri memories bloom" and part 2 "Quang Tri - Destination of Peace".

Part 1 will take viewers back in time, to the glorious history of the struggle of the people of Quang Tri in particular and the people of the whole country in general in the war against foreign invaders.

Part 2 is a symphony about the joy and happiness of living in a peaceful and prosperous society, while promoting the land and people of Quang Tri, the image of a friendly and hospitable Vietnam, and spreading the spirit of peace-loving people at home and abroad.

The highlight of the program is the theme song Melody of Peace, which was newly written on the flashmob music. The international art troupe and Vietnamese artists will perform together with 1,001 children and 1,001 drones on a colorful stage.

In particular, the children will perform a collection of Ao Dai made from recycled, environmentally friendly materials, with images representing the typical cultures of 54 ethnic groups, unique cultural and tourist destinations, symbols of 63 provinces and cities of Vietnam and the unique colors of 192 countries that have diplomatic relations with Vietnam.

The program has the participation of 9 international art troupes from Korea, Japan, the United States, China, France, Australia, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, along with leading Vietnamese artists participating in the performance. King Danh Chieu Linh, Miss Ban Mai, Miss Thu Thuy... accompanied as ambassadors.

The program will take place at 8:00 p.m. on July 20, broadcast live on VTV and local stations.

The 2024 Peace Festival with the theme "Joining hands to build a peaceful world" is organized by the People's Committee of Quang Tri province in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This is the first festival with a message of peace held in Quang Tri to honor the value of peace, pay tribute to heroic martyrs, commemorate war victims; contribute to enhancing the position and image of the country and people of Vietnam; build Quang Tri into a cultural space for peace, a destination for peace, a meeting place for peace-loving friends from all over the world.

The opening program will take place on the evening of July 6 at the Hien Luong - Ben Hai River National Special Monument with a series of meaningful activities and unique art programs.
