In Dac Rich village, where floodwaters rose rapidly, forces focused on supporting two households, Alang Val and Alang Dum, to harvest more than 800 square meters of rice that was deeply flooded and at high risk of falling.
Despite heavy rain and slippery rice fields, militia and family members still worked hard to cut rice and transport each bundle to a dry, safe place.

Mr. Bui The Anh, Chairman of the People's Committee of La Dee commune, said that in the face of complicated flood developments, the commune mobilized all local forces to help people harvest rice in time, especially households with deeply flooded areas.
"The government is also implementing a plan to preserve rice after harvest, minimizing damage to people. Depending on the actual situation, the locality will have a suitable plan to help people overcome natural disasters," Mr. The Anh shared.

* That same evening, the authorities of La Dee border commune recorded a serious landslide, causing rocks and soil from the slope to flow into the house, collapsing the entire kitchen area and part of the main wall of Mr. Poloong Nhac's house (Dak Ooc village).
Many blocks of earth and rock continued to fall into the yard, flooding the family's living area. Fortunately, thanks to the proactive evacuation of Mr. Poloong Nhac's family to the village cultural house, the landslide did not cause any human casualties.
