In Dak Rich village, where floodwaters rose rapidly, forces focused on assisting two families, Alang Val and Alang Dum, in harvesting over 800 square meters of rice that was deeply submerged and at high risk of collapsing.
Despite the heavy rain and slippery rice paddies, the militia and family members of the affected households persevered in harvesting the rice and transporting each bundle to a dry, safe location.

According to Mr. Bui The Anh, Chairman of the People's Committee of La Deee commune, in response to the complex flood situation, the commune mobilized all local forces to help people harvest rice promptly, especially those households with deeply flooded areas.
"The authorities are also implementing measures to preserve rice after harvest, minimizing losses for the people. Depending on the actual situation, the locality will have appropriate plans to help people overcome the natural disaster," Mr. The Anh shared.

* Later that evening, the authorities of La Dêê border commune recorded a serious landslide, causing soil and rocks from the embankment to flood into the house, collapsing the entire kitchen area and part of the main wall of Mr. Pơloong Nhác's house (Đắc Ôốc village).
Many chunks of earth and rocks continued to fall onto the yard, flooding the family's living area. Fortunately, thanks to the proactive evacuation of Mr. Pơloong Nhác's family to the village's cultural center for shelter beforehand, the landslide did not cause any casualties.
