Over the past 5 years, the Party Committee of the People's Army Cinema has thoroughly grasped, concretized and seriously implemented the Party's guidelines and policies, resolutions and directives of superiors, leading the unit to comprehensively complete the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the Congress for the 2020-2025 term, with many tasks being excellently completed. The work of making documentaries, scientific films, and feature films, combined with propaganda, filming, archiving, managing, preserving and exploiting the film documentation center has been increasingly effective. The film products are made in accordance with the principles, purposes, and political orientation, with good ideological content, well-evaluated by public opinion and experts inside and outside the Army, participating in awards and achieving many outstanding achievements.

The quality of training, formal construction, discipline, logistics, technical and financial work has seen many progressive changes. The majority of cadres and party members have maintained and promoted their exemplary vanguard role, with steadfast political will, good moral qualities, and qualifications and abilities that meet the requirements of the task; the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee and Party cells have been improved.

Party building and organization work has received due attention, the quality of Party cell activities has been gradually improved, and discipline and order have been maintained. The task of Party development has been carried out strictly and according to procedures; inspection and supervision work has been carried out seriously, contributing to maintaining the principles of Party organization and activities, and building internal solidarity and unity.

Speaking at the Congress, Major General Tran Ngoc Anh acknowledged and commended the outstanding results that the Party Committee of the People's Army Cinema had achieved in the past term; at the same time, he emphasized: During the term, the Party Committee of the unit has comprehensively led all aspects of work, thereby making a very important contribution to building the 65-year tradition of the People's Army Cinema, affirming its leading position in the production of film genres through each work. In the coming time, the unit needs to focus on further exploiting the topics of the armed forces and revolutionary war, performing well the functions of cinema, press and propaganda; continue to implement and complete the Strategic Plan for Cultural Development to 2030 in accordance with its functions and tasks.

Regarding the direction in the new term, the Congress agreed to continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, military and defense tasks and the tasks of the Party Central Committee and the Central Military Commission, focusing on the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 12th Military Party Congress, the Resolution of the 20th Congress of the Central Military Commission Party Committee; grasp the viewpoints and guidelines for the development of culture, literature and art of the Party, the State, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense , and the direction of the Head of the Central Military Commission; grasp the position, role, functions and tasks of the unit, proactively innovate and synchronously implement solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of filmmaking tasks; effectively store, manage, preserve and exploit the film documentation center. Enhance the comprehensive leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee and Party cells, build a comprehensively strong unit, create a strong and solid transformation, and successfully complete all assigned tasks.
