(gialai.gov.vn) - On the morning of August 16, the Quy Nhon Nam Ward Party Committee solemnly held the 1st Party Congress of the ward, term 2025-2030. Attending the congress were comrades: Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Huynh Thi Thuy Van - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Dang Quoc Loc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief Justice of the Provincial People's Court. Also attending were former provincial leaders and former leaders of the Quy Nhon City Party Committee through the periods. On the Quy Nhon Nam Ward side, there were comrade Dang Manh Cuong - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Council; comrades in the Ward Party Executive Committee; and 239 official delegates representing 4,932 party members of 71 party organizations under the Ward Party Committee.

Quy Nhon Nam Ward Party Committee was established on the basis of merging 4 Ward Party Committees: Ngo May, Nguyen Van Cu, Ghenh Rang and Quang Trung, with a total of 4,932 Party members. Immediately after the merger, the organizational structure of the ward's political system was quickly completed, streamlined and put into stable and effective operation.

In the past term, with the spirit of solidarity and high political determination, the Party Committee and people of Quy Nhon Nam ward have strived to overcome many difficulties and challenges and achieved comprehensive results in many fields. The economy continued to develop; urban planning and beautification were focused on; culture and society made much progress; national defense and security were maintained; social order and safety were stable. In particular, the work of Party building and the political system had many positive changes, operating stably after the merger. Along with that, strive for the annual party membership admission rate in the 2025-2030 period to reach 3% or more of the total number of party members; annually, 90% of affiliated party organizations will complete their tasks well or better; by 2030, 95% of leaders and managers of agencies and units under the ward will have intermediate political theory qualifications or higher...

To realize the set targets, the Quy Nhon Nam Ward Party Committee has promoted the implementation of 4 breakthroughs including: Mobilizing and effectively using all investment resources to build a socio-economic infrastructure system to meet development requirements; promoting traditional cultural values associated with trade, services, and tourism into spearhead economic sectors; promoting administrative reform, digital transformation, building smart cities, becoming the center of science and technology, artificial intelligence (AI) of the province; focusing on planning, training, fostering, and arranging the use of civil servants and public employees to meet the requirements of tasks in the new period.

Through the directions, goals, main targets and 5 key tasks for the 2025-2030 term stated in the Political Report, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang basically agreed and proposed that the Congress and the Party Executive Committee of Quy Nhon Nam Ward focus on implementing well a number of key contents.

First of all, it is necessary to build a truly clean and strong Party organization in all aspects; innovate leadership methods, improve the capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization, especially in the Party cells. Focus on the work of developing Party members, strengthen inspection and supervision; build a contingent of cadres with courage, intelligence, and dedication to serving the People. Promote the spirit of solidarity and unity in the entire Party organization; focus on leading and directing socio-economic development, ensuring the successful completion of the goals and targets of the Congress Resolution.
