On November 10, 1949, Tien Phuoc District Party Committee decided to establish Tien My Commune Party Cell, codenamed Vo Nguyen Giap Party Cell. The cell had 3 party members including Vo Bam, Ho Hanh and Pham Viet Bien, with comrade Vo Bam as secretary.
Over 75 years of construction and growth, the Tien My Commune Party Committee has gradually affirmed its leadership role, helped the revolutionary movement overcome difficulties, and made worthy contributions to the victories of the struggle for national liberation, construction and defense of the Fatherland.
The Party Committee and people of Tien My commune have been awarded many noble prizes by the Party and State such as 21 First Class Resistance Medals, 14 Second Class Resistance Medals, 31 Third Class Resistance Medals and many other noble medals and orders; conferred and posthumously conferred 2 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, 41 martyrs, 95 people with meritorious services to the revolution.
From the initial party members, after 75 years of construction and growth, Tien My Commune Party Committee now has 107 party members operating in 11 party cells. Over the years, Tien My Party Committee, government and people have always been united, successfully carrying out political , economic and social tasks.
Implementing the National Target Program on advanced new rural construction (NTM) by the end of 2024, Tien My commune has achieved 19/19 advanced NTM criteria, waiting for the province to inspect, evaluate and recognize. The total capital for building advanced NTM communes of the locality is nearly 86 billion VND; of which direct capital from the NTM program is more than 29.5 billion VND. 3/6 villages have achieved model NTM villages, the remaining 3 villages strive to achieve model NTM villages by the end of 2024. From 2021 to present, Tien My commune has supported 68 garden economic development models, a farm economic model according to Project 03 of the district and Resolution 35 of the Provincial People's Council, with a budget of over 3 billion VND. By the end of 2023, the average income per capita of the commune reached more than 56 million VND, poor households decreased to 1.27%, near-poor households decreased to 1.7%.
Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of Tien Phuoc District Party Committee - Phan Van Duong praised and highly appreciated the achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of Tien My commune over the past 75 years. He requested the Party Committee and people of Tien My commune to continue focusing on building a clean and strong Party Committee and political system. Continue to promote potentials and advantages, focus on overcoming limitations and weaknesses, strive to reach the target of advanced NTM, model NTM in the period of 2025 - 2030 according to the set roadmap.
On this occasion, Tien My Commune Party Committee organized the Ceremony to award the 45-year Party membership badge on September 2 to Party member Pham Huu Chinh, who is active at My Thuong Tay Party cell.
Tien My Commune Party Committee awarded prizes to collectives that won prizes at the online contest to learn about the history of the Commune Party Committee and the Badminton Tournament to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Commune Party Committee.
