According to the VNA correspondent in Mexico, in a warm atmosphere, General Secretary Guitiérrez expressed his admiration for the national liberation struggle of the Vietnamese people and President Ho Chi Minh, affirming that Vietnam's success today must be attributed to the key role of the Communist Party of Vietnam - the force that has transformed Vietnam from a poor, backward country, heavily affected by war, into a rich and powerful nation with an increasingly important position and role in the region and the world.
Expressing gratitude for the special affection and practical support that General Secretary of the PT Alberto Anaya Gutiérrez as well as the left-wing parties and progressive forces in Mexico and Latin America have given to the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Vietnamese people, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Nguyen Thai Hoc emphasized that these are actions that clearly demonstrate the growing position and influence of the PT in particular and the left-wing movement in Latin America in general.
