Assessment of Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity: Number of candidates registering for the second round increased sharply

- Ảnh 1. — The second round of the Ho Chi Minh City National University Competency Assessment Exam has more than doubled the number of candidates compared to the same period in 2024.

This morning (May 8), the Center for Testing and Training Quality Assessment (Ho Chi Minh City National University) announced information on the number of candidates registering for the second round of the 2025 competency assessment exam.

After 21 days of opening the second registration portal, more than 97,000 candidates have registered for the second round of the 2025 capacity assessment exam. The number of candidates registering for the second round this year has more than doubled compared to the same round in 2024.

Accordingly, the number of candidates registered for the exam by the end of yesterday (May 7) was 97,121. Candidates continue to complete the payment of exam fees until the end of May 8.

The second round of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam was held on June 1 in 11 provinces/cities including: Hue, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Duong, Tien Giang, An Giang and Ho Chi Minh City.

The results of the second round of exams are expected to be announced on June 16. In case candidates take both rounds of exams, the higher exam result will be used for admission consideration.

Not only the second round, the first round of this exam also attracted a record number of candidates, with 126,297 candidates (an increase of about 30,000 candidates compared to the same period last year).

Previously, Ho Chi Minh City National University announced the results of the first round of the competency assessment exam. In this round, the average score of candidates was 618.4 points, 142 candidates scored over 1,000 points and the candidate with the highest score was 1,060 points. Currently, 111 universities and colleges have registered to use the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University to consider admission for their units.
