List of 44 people who received a vote of confidence from the National Assembly

The National Assembly approved a list of people holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly for a vote of confidence .

This afternoon (October 24), the National Assembly approved a list of people holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly for a vote of confidence.

According to Article 7 of Resolution 96 of the National Assembly on taking a vote of confidence, the person being voted on must fully and honestly report on the results of performing assigned tasks and powers, political qualities, ethics, lifestyle, declare assets, income, limitations, shortcomings, directions for overcoming and fully explain the content that voters and people have opinions or National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies request.

The positions elected and approved by the National Assembly according to Resolution 96 include: President, Vice President; Chairman of the National Assembly, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the Council of Nationalities , Chairman of the National Assembly Committee, Secretary General of the National Assembly; Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers, other members of the Government; Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy and State Auditor General.

However, those who have announced their retirement or have been elected or appointed in the year of the vote of confidence are not eligible for the vote of confidence. Therefore, the National Assembly will not take a vote of confidence for President Vo Van Thuong, Deputy Prime Ministers Tran Hong Ha and Tran Luu Quang, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Dang Quoc Khanh and Chairman of the Finance and Budget Committee Le Quang Manh, because they were elected or approved for appointment in 2023.

Among the 44 people who received a vote of confidence from the National Assembly this time, the President's bloc has 1 person, the National Assembly bloc has 18 people, the Government bloc has 23 people, along with the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court and the Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy.

There are 2 personnel who took the 4th vote of confidence (Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue and Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh), 12 personnel who took the 2nd vote of confidence, and the remaining 30 personnel who took the first vote of confidence.
