The entrance exam for grade 10 of non-specialized public high schools for the 2025-2026 school year in the city will take place on June 7-8.
The whole city has more than 103,000 candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam to public high schools, about 4,411 exam rooms, 201 exam locations, 15,173 officials, teachers, staff, and police participating in the organization, and more than 2,000 officials and teachers participating in grading the exams.
The number of candidates in Hanoi is about 10 times higher than the average number of candidates and test scores in other provinces and cities. This is the first exam organized under the 2018 generaleducation program with the orientation of assessing the capacity and qualities of learners.
With 64% of candidates selected for public high schools, the exam is highly competitive and receives great attention from society.
