Fire extinguished at a business location in Ca Mau

The large fire in Ca Mau was controlled and extinguished promptly, but the fire burned down a spicy noodle business and affected 3 neighboring apartments.

On the morning of July 28, the Party Committee and government of Cai Nuoc commune (Ca Mau province) established a delegation to visit, encourage and provide initial support to families whose houses were affected by the fire.

Earlier, at around 5 a.m. the same day, people discovered a fire starting from a spicy noodle business located about 200 meters from Cai Nuoc General Hospital (Cai Nuoc commune), then the fire spread to three neighboring apartments.

Upon receiving the report from the local people, the local fire fighting force quickly approached the scene, using specialized equipment to put out the fire and assist in evacuating people's property to a safe place. By around 6am the same day, the fire was completely extinguished.

Although no one was injured, according to initial statistics, the fire completely burned down a house that sold spicy noodles and damaged 1/3 of the neighboring houses.

Local authorities are calculating the extent of damage and clarifying the cause of the fire.
