After nearly 1 year of construction, the factory producing absolute angle detectors for electric car engines of Tamagawa Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Song Khoai Industrial Park (Quang Yen Town) is expected to come into operation this June. Along with preparing conditions for production, the Company is currently actively recruiting workers, with an estimated 250 workers in various departments.
Mr. Yasuo Hagimoto, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tamagawa Vietnam Co., Ltd., said: To meet production needs, since March, the unit has coordinated with many units to recruit workers in many positions with different requirements such as assembly workers, mechanical technicians, quality management staff, assembly line management staff, etc. In addition to regular training for workers, the unit has implemented well the regimes and policies, taking care of ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of cadres, workers, and laborers to create the best environment, actively working, and feeling secure in their commitment.
According to statistics from the Department of Education and Training, by 2030, businesses in the province will need nearly 900,000 workers. To meet the labor needs of businesses, the province has issued many mechanisms, policies, and support for vocational training. A typical example is Resolution No. 310/2020/NQ-HDND on vocational training support policies in the list of training incentives and cultural tuition support for junior high school graduates to continue to intermediate and college levels in the province in the period 2021-2025. The whole province has had 53,893 students supported with a budget of 94.4 billion VND. Some industries and occupations that attract many students are: Food processing technology, tourism , automotive technology, industrial electricity, hotel management.
Along with that, vocational training institutions provide training in a variety of occupations in line with the orientation of socio -economic development. The institutions focus on closely linking research, training, and the needs of the labor market; facilities serving training are increasingly invested and upgraded by vocational training institutions, ensuring basic practical requirements; closely linking research, training, and the needs of the labor market. Thanks to that, the rate of students having jobs after graduation at vocational training institutions reaches over 85%.
Phung Xuan Tai, a student of the intermediate class of Food Processing Technology K62, Dong Bac College of Agriculture and Forestry, said: In June 2025, I will take the cultural graduation exam. Currently, with a good vocational degree, many businesses are recruiting me with a salary of 10-11 million VND/month. Having a job right after graduation is the desire of me and many other students.
Mr. Nguyen Sy Phan, Head of Food and Beverage Department of The Yacht Hotel by DC, said: The hotel currently has 200 employees, most of whom are recruited fromeducational institutions in the province, such as Ha Long University, Northeast Agriculture and Forestry College, Vietnam-Korea College... These are all qualified human resources, well-trained, quick to grasp the job, good awareness, proactive in work, taking on a number of key positions in the unit. Along with that, agencies, units and localities coordinate to organize job fairs, school-employer cooperation forums, job exchanges... to create a bridge between businesses and workers.
In order to effectively implement solutions to meet the human resource needs of enterprises in particular and in practice in general, at the meeting of the Provincial People's Committee on April 3 to listen to a thematic report on the implementation of policies and laws on the development and use of human resources to meet the requirements of socio-economic development, comrade Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested: Departments, branches and localities to study and establish a database of human resource information to form an electronic trading floor on the labor market; review the activities of vocational schools in the area to direct the expansion of occupations needed by the province, associated with the supply of high-quality skilled labor for enterprises, especially in industrial parks and economic zones and the fields of marine aquaculture, services, electricity - electronics, semiconductors, IT, tourism; popularize foreign languages, IT, skills... for 100% of students to improve the quality of human resources; propose mechanisms and policies for training ethnic minority workers in remote, isolated, border and island areas. In addition, build a digital transformation application system from the recruitment, training, and labor supply stages to provide information to people on the mobile phone messaging system; continue to propose policies to attract experts and high-quality human resources for the sectors the province needs to work.
