Each autumn comes, and we feel more deeply the sacred soul of the mountains and rivers, the great, sacred, and eternal values of a free and independent country.

It has been 78 years since independence, but the brilliant halo from the historic autumn of 1945 still illuminates every step forward on the path of innovation, towards the future of the nation. Autumn has become the meeting place of tens of millions of Vietnamese hearts. The echoes of the General Uprising to seize power in 1945 and the day Uncle Ho read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, resound again, leaving deep in the soul of every Vietnamese person sacred and proud emotions.
Reading the history of our country and watching documentary films from the early 20th century, I feel even more sorry for our country during the dark years of slavery and the people's "double yoke". "Our villages were withered and withered/ At midnight, taxes were rushed/ Blood flowed in the communal house yard, the village roads were full of soldiers" (To Huu). The Party was born on February 3, 1930, opening a bright path for all people to follow. The successive struggles broke out, shaking the feudal colonial regime, typically the climax of 1930-1931, the peak of which was the Nghe Tinh Soviet, the climax of the struggle for democracy and people's livelihood from 1936-1939, and the climax of the struggle to prepare for the uprising to seize power from 1939-1945, the peak of which was the August Revolution of 1945.
Right in the heart of Hanoi, when the Japanese fascists ousted the French and imposed a harsh regime on the country, all classes of people, especially workers, farmers, and intellectuals, silently supported the Viet Minh. Under the leadership of the Hanoi Party Committee, the Viet Minh Front propagated, enlightened, and led the entire population to break into the Japanese rice warehouses to save the people from starvation, seized the opportunity to rise up and seize power, and neutralized the feudal government apparatus - puppets of the pro-Japanese. "Gunfire shook the sky in anger / People rose up like water bursting the banks" (Nguyen Dinh Thi). The bustling atmosphere of the general uprising to seize power arose throughout the country.

The autumn of 1945 was so bright and radiant because from then on, Vietnam had become independent. Under the sun of Ba Dinh, on the high platform, before tens of thousands of compatriots, President Ho Chi Minh solemnly read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. His words echoed in the autumn sun, in the clear blue sky, full of wind, passionate, solemn, loud, clear, becoming the voice of history, of the thousand-year-old mountains and rivers:
“The sky suddenly became bluer, the sun was shining brightly
I look up at Uncle Ho, Uncle Ho looks at me
Everyone is probably looking at me.

78 autumns have passed, but the image of that historic autumn remains intact in the minds of many generations of Vietnamese people. There are not many people who witnessed and contributed to that autumn anymore, but like a stream flowing in the flow of history, today's descendants are still passed on the great, sacred pride and the iron determination to maintain "that freedom and independence".
Keeping the oath to the Government and President Ho, from that autumn, our entire nation continued to fight against French colonialism with the determination of “Rather sacrifice everything than lose the country, never become slaves” as Uncle Ho called. Together with the heroic army of General Vo Nguyen Giap, under the leadership of the Party Central Committee and Uncle Ho, the entire nation was determined to wage a “long-term resistance”, with all the people and all the people. May 7, 1954 became a shining milestone when the Dien Bien Phu battle ended in victory, “creating a red wreath, creating a golden history”.
Following Uncle Ho's call: "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom!", "As long as there is an invader in our country, we must continue to fight and wipe it out", the whole nation was determined to "Split the Truong Son range to save the country/ With hearts full of hope for the future". On April 30, 1975, the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign ended in victory, the South was completely liberated, the North and the South were reunited. Blood, sweat and tears have soaked a stretch of the country. Thousands of anonymous graves, thousands of cemeteries, and martyrs' memorials honor those who fell for the country to blossom with independence and freedom.

Ha Tinh has been working with the whole country to "rebuild our country to be more dignified and beautiful" as wished by President Ho Chi Minh.
After the reunification, the whole nation entered a period of national reconstruction, embarking on the path of innovation, "rebuilding our country to be more dignified and beautiful". Countless difficulties and hardships were resolved by our Party when it gathered the strength of the entire people, innovated its leadership methods; cadres and Party members were exemplary, and the entire people wholeheartedly believed in and followed the path of the Party and Uncle Ho. The patriotic emulation movement developed strongly in all localities, sectors, and armed forces.
Vietnam has left the list of underdeveloped countries and is a developing country with a low average income. The economic growth rate is maintained at a fairly high level, Vietnam can join the group of upper middle-income countries by 2025. Political stability, gradual economic growth, socio-cultural development, national defense and security are maintained, cultural heritage is preserved, people do business and build their lives in peace. These are extremely great values, exchanged with the blood and sweat of many generations that only those living in volatile countries can fully appreciate. As General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong affirmed: "Our country has never had such a foundation, potential, position and international prestige as today". The country's foundation lies in the minds, hearts and hands of tens of millions of Vietnamese people, requiring each person to turn love for the country and homeland into practical actions every day.
78 years have passed, but the echoes of the August Revolution in 1945 still linger in the hearts of generations of Ha Tinh people.
Located in the beloved "central region", in the country's innovation flow, under the leadership of the Party, all classes of people in Ha Tinh have actively responded to patriotic emulation movements, bringing their intelligence, enthusiasm, intelligence and creativity to build their homeland to become more and more beautiful and civilized. Politics are stable, the economy is constantly growing, culture and society are changing positively. New rural areas have become a bright spot in the country. Ha Tinh shines with the spirit of studiousness with many years of achievements in the top of education in the country... These are strong evidences of the "unanimity and unity" of the Party Committee and the people of Ha Tinh, evidence of the love for the homeland and country of each resident of Hong Mountain - La River.
This autumn, in the bright sunshine and autumn wind, under the clear blue sky of Hanoi, the thousand-year-old Hoan Kiem Lake is reflecting the faces from all over the country coming to the Capital to welcome the National Day. The heart of Hanoi beats again with a sacred and proud rhythm, in harmony with the heartbeats of millions of people across the country. “Forward, forward together! Our Vietnamese nation is strong!”
