Youth volunteer summer imprint 2025

Ban Chua, Hieu Giang commune currently has 104 households, 412 people, most of whom are Bru-Van Kieu ethnic people, and their lives are still difficult. Not only that, people here also face difficulties in domestic water sources. Because they use water flowing from rivers and streams, it is not hygienic and there is a water shortage in the summer.

Faced with that situation, the Hieu Giang Commune Youth Union coordinated with Regiment 19, Division 968 to build two clean water projects for the community in Chua village. From the funding support from Regiment 19, the Youth Union members and youth of Hieu Giang commune actively participated with the officers and soldiers of Regiment 19 to organize the construction and handover of the projects to Chua village.

Chua Ho Van Muong village chief shared: “We thank the attention and support of Regiment 19 and Hieu Giang Commune Youth Union. Since the two clean water projects were put into use, the people in the village have had enough water for their daily life, everyone is assured and excited.”

According to Secretary of the Hieu Giang Commune Youth Union Nguyen Quy Nhat Linh: "This is a meaningful project that not only helps improve the living standards and health of the people, but also demonstrates the spirit of solidarity between the army and the people, youth and armed forces in the work of volunteering for the community."

Implementing the "Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign" in 2025, Hieu Giang Commune Youth Union also carried out many other meaningful projects and tasks, such as: Giving gifts to policy families and students in difficult circumstances worth tens of millions of VND; supporting exam season, career counseling; signing a memorandum of understanding to establish the commune's international student club for foreign language exchange...

Along with the Hieu Giang Commune Youth Union, the Provincial People's Committee Youth Union is also one of the youth unions that organize many exciting activities in the "Summer Youth Volunteer" campaign in 2025. Joining hands to protect the green, clean and beautiful environment, the Youth Union of the Provincial People's Committee has deployed cleaning and beautifying the landscape at the headquarters of agencies, units, and red addresses...

The Provincial People's Committee's delegation coordinated with a number of youth unions and units to provide 40 million VND in support to disadvantaged people in Nam Trach commune to eliminate temporary houses. The Youth Union members directly helped poor households, policy beneficiaries, and disadvantaged families repair damaged and degraded household electricity systems; handed over the "Lighting up the Countryside Roads" project... to create favorable conditions for people's lives.

Promoting the tradition of "Repaying gratitude", in July, the Youth Unions under the Provincial People's Committee Youth Union carried out many activities to show gratitude to heroic martyrs, policy families, and meritorious people. Activities such as "Supporting the exam season", life skills education for children, etc. were also effectively organized and implemented.

Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Youth Union Nguyen Tuan Hung said: "The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee Youth Union has directed the grassroots youth unions to widely propagate the "Summer Youth Volunteers" campaign through the Youth Union's media channels. The propaganda content focuses on promptly and vividly reflecting the campaign's activities, highlighting typical collectives and individuals, good models, creative ways of doing things, etc. Thanks to that, it has attracted the attention and response of the community, created a strong ripple effect and maintained a vibrant atmosphere throughout the campaign."

The 2025 "Summer Youth Volunteer" campaign was deployed by the Provincial Youth Union with contents such as: "Green Summer", "Red Flamboyant", "Green March", "Pink Vacation"... After 3 months of implementation, 100% of the Youth Union bases in the province simultaneously deployed the campaign, with 185,000 Youth Union members participating in many meaningful and practical projects and tasks, leaving good impressions in the community. Typical models include: "Family meal - Warm mother's love"; restoring 80 martyrs' portraits using AI technology from old photos to send to martyrs' families.

The 2025 "Summer Youth Volunteers" campaign has achieved outstanding results, such as: Supporting 8,499 working days to build and repair 875 temporary and dilapidated houses in the province; planting 203,000 new trees; repairing 30km and building 200m of new rural roads; supporting the implementation and realization of 770 ideas and initiatives of young people; training on start-up knowledge for 2,100 young people, supporting 17 creative start-up projects of young people; providing career and employment counseling for 33,180 young people, introducing jobs to at least 6,015 young people; commune-level Youth Union units carried out 78 youth projects and tasks to welcome Party Congresses at all levels...

In order to support the government and people in communes, wards and special zones to carry out their tasks after the merger, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has directed the Youth Union bases to establish 79 youth volunteer teams to support local governments at 2 levels, with 1,560 youth union members participating in supporting 115,000 people. The Provincial Youth Union launched the "Youth Digital Tips" column on the Provincial Youth Union fanpage, sharing knowledge and skills in using technology, digital applications and online tools...

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Quoc Toan said: “The 2025 “Summer Youth Volunteer” campaign takes place in the context of the Youth Union at all levels operating under a new model, and localities implementing the 2-level government model. In that condition, the youth of the whole province has promoted the spirit of creativity, flexibility, and proactive adaptation to effectively organize activities in the campaign in accordance with the practical situation of each locality and unit. Many projects, models, and tasks have demonstrated the talent, intelligence, and creative ways of working of the youth, which have been highly appreciated by the Party Committee, the government, and the people. Thereby, contributing to building a beautiful image of Quang Tri youth as proactive, voluntary, creative, united, and loyal.”
