Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council has just approved the project to invest in the construction of inter-regional roads in Dien Khanh district. This is identified as a key priority investment project for socio-economic development in the spirit of Resolution No. 42 of the Government promulgating the Action Program to implement Resolution No. 09 of the Politburo on the construction and development of Khanh Hoa province to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien - Deputy Director of the Department of Transport said that the investment project will contribute to gradually completing the traffic network of Dien Khanh district as well as the province in a synchronous, modern direction, connecting regions, contributing to the implementation of the goal of developing Dien Khanh urban area, creating land funds for urban development, promoting socio-economic development, tourism , and people's livelihood in the area; in line with the strategy and plan for socio-economic development stated in Resolution No. 42 of the Government.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Cuong - Vice Chairman of Dien Khanh District People's Committee: Dien Khanh inter-regional traffic route is of great significance to the locality. This is a traffic axis directly connecting Nha Trang City to the northern communes of Dien Khanh, such as Dien Phu, Dien Dien, Dien Son. The project not only contributes to completing the urban planning of the district but also opens up the direction for socio-economic development of the locality, especially the areas along the route. Later, the route will intersect with the connecting axis to Mai Xuan Thuong Street, which has been proposed by Nha Trang City People's Committee to be included in the planning, creating a continuous traffic axis. Thus, the trade and circulation of people from Dien Khanh to Nha Trang and vice versa will be more convenient. |
The project is fully invested according to the scale of urban roads with a planned road width of 30m for sections passing through existing residential areas; investing in the roadbed and road surface to ensure 4 lanes for sections outside residential areas. According to calculations, the entire project will clear the ground according to the planned road width of 30m (except for the sections that overlap with Road D6 under the Sub-zoning Plan of Dien Khanh Administrative Center Urban Area and Road No. 01 under the Sub-zoning Plan of Binh Loc Commune Center, both of which have a planned road width of 20m). Accordingly, the land use demand of the project is expected to be nearly 55.8 hectares. Of which, Nha Trang City is nearly 3.2 hectares and Dien Khanh District is more than 52.6 hectares. The total investment capital of the project is nearly 1,500 billion VND. Of which, the central budget capital is about 400 billion VND and 1,097 billion VND from the local budget. The project implementation period is from 2023 to 2027.
The project is implemented by separating compensation, support, resettlement, and site clearance into an independent project according to Resolution No. 55 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Khanh Hoa province and Resolution No. 09 dated September 23, 2022 of the Provincial People's Council on promulgating a list of public investment projects to pilot the separation of compensation and resettlement support projects from public investment projects in the province. Thus, after calculation, the project of compensation, support, resettlement, and site clearance for the route section through Nha Trang city will have a total cost of more than 4.5 billion VND; through Dien Khanh district, more than 132 billion VND.
