Admission method of Vietnam Women's Academy 2025
In 2025, Vietnam Women's Academy (VWA) will enroll 1,765 students through 5 admission methods as follows:
Method 1 (PT1): Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training 's Admission Regulations and the Admission Regulations of Vietnam Women's Academy - Code 301.
1) Direct admission
(1) Labor heroes, People's Armed Forces heroes, and National Emulation Fighters are recruited directly into sectors and programs according to individual needs.
(2) Candidates who won first, second, or third prizes in national or international competitions for excellent students or national or international science and technology competitions related to the training fields of the Academy organized and sent to participate by the Ministry of Education and Training; the time of winning the prize must not exceed 3 years from the time of direct admission.
(3) The Director of the Academy shall, based on the candidates' high school study results and the requirements of the training sector, consider and decide to admit the following cases (if necessary, the candidate must study 01 year of additional knowledge before officially enrolling):
+ Candidates with severe disabilities have a certificate of disability issued by a competent authority as prescribed, are able to study a number of majors prescribed by the Academy but are not able to apply for admission through the normal admission method;
+ Candidates are ethnic minorities with very few people according to current regulations of the Government and candidates from 20 poor border and island districts in the Southwest region;
+ Candidates who have had a permanent residence for 3 years or more, studied for 3 years and graduated from high school in poor districts (ethnic boarding high school students are calculated based on their permanent residence) according to regulations of the Government and Prime Minister ;
+ Candidates are foreigners whose Vietnamese knowledge and proficiency test results meet current regulations of the Minister of Education and Training.
2) Priority admission
2.1) Regional priority policy (according to Form No. 03)
- Priority points applied to region 1 (KV1) are 0.75 points, rural region 2 (KV2-NT) is 0.5 points, region 2 (KV2) is 0.25 points; region 3 (KV3) is not counted for priority points;
- The admission area of each candidate is determined according to the location of the school where the candidate studied the longest during high school (or intermediate) time; if the study time (longest) in the areas is the same, it is determined according to the area of the school where the candidate studied last;
- The following cases are entitled to regional priority based on place of permanent residence:
+ Students of ethnic boarding schools enjoy priority and preferential treatment from the State according to regulations;
+ Students with permanent residence (during high school or intermediate school) for more than 18 months in communes in region III and communes with extremely difficult villages in ethnic minority and mountainous areas as prescribed by the Minister, Chairman of the Ethnic Committee and the Prime Minister; extremely difficult communes in coastal and island areas; extremely difficult communes, border communes, and safe zone communes in the investment area of Program 135 (according to Decision No. 135/QD-TTg dated July 31, 1998 of the Prime Minister); extremely difficult villages and communes in areas as prescribed by the Prime Minister if studying high school (or intermediate school) at a location in a district, town, or provincial city with at least one of the communes in an extremely difficult area;
+ Military personnel; officers, non-commissioned officers, and conscripts in the People's Public Security who are sent to participate in the recruitment, if they have been stationed for 18 months or more in a region, will enjoy priority according to that region or according to their permanent residence before enlistment, depending on which region has higher priority; if they have been stationed for 18 months or more in regions with different priority levels, they will enjoy priority according to the region with the longer period of stationing; if they are less than 18 months, they will enjoy regional priority according to their permanent residence before enlistment;
- From 2023, candidates will enjoy regional priority policies according to regulations in the year of graduating from high school (or college) and the following year.
2.2) Regional priority policy (according to Form No. 01)

Government; particularly disadvantaged communes in coastal and island areas; particularly disadvantaged communes, border communes, and safe zone communes eligible for investment under Program 135 (according to Decision No. 135/QD-TTg dated July 31, 1998 of the Prime Minister); particularly disadvantaged villages and communes in areas prescribed by the Prime Minister if studying at high school (or intermediate) level at a location in a district, town, or city under a province with at least one of the communes in the particularly disadvantaged area;
+ Military personnel; officers, non-commissioned officers, and conscripts in the People's Public Security who are sent to participate in the recruitment, if they have been stationed for 18 months or more in a region, will enjoy priority according to that region or according to their permanent residence before enlistment, depending on which region has higher priority; if they have been stationed for 18 months or more in regions with different priority levels, they will enjoy priority according to the region with the longer period of stationing; if they are less than 18 months, they will enjoy regional priority according to their permanent residence before enlistment;
- Candidates enjoy regional priority policies according to regulations in the year of graduating from high school (or college) and the following year.
2.3) Priority policies according to policy subjects (according to Form No. 02)
- The priority score applied to group UT1 (including subjects 01 to 04) is 2.0 points and to group UT2 (including subjects 05 to 07) is 1.0 point;
- Priority scores for other policy subjects (specified in current legal documents) are decided by the Minister of Education and Training;
- Candidates belonging to many policy subjects specified in the above regulations will only be given the highest priority score.
Method 2 (PT2): Consider the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam - Code 100.
Candidates who meet the general admission criteria and specific thresholds for each major will be announced by the Academy in the Admission Notice at the time of admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; some specific regulations for some majors are as follows:
+ Law and Economic Law majors must have a score of ≥ 6.0 points in the Math and Literature exam, or Math or Literature of the admission combinations (in words: six point zero)
+ Information Technology major, Math exam score in the registered admission combinations (DKXT) must be ≥ 6.0 points (In words: six point zero).
The total of bonus points, bonus points, and incentive points (collectively referred to as bonus points) for candidates with special achievements and candidates with international English certificates must not exceed 10% of the maximum score of the scoring scale (maximum 3 points on a 30-point scale) and must be added before adding priority points.

Note:
- For candidates with special achievements, the winning subject must be in the group registered for admission to the Academy's training program.
- In case a candidate has multiple bonus points, the total bonus points will only be counted up to 3 points.
- Admission score (Score) is on a scale of 30 and rounded to two decimal places.
- The Academy considers from high to low scores until the quota is full.
- The Academy ensures the admission principles of candidates according to the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Academy.
- For methods 2 and 3, the majors of Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, and Economics, the admission score for the admission combination C00 (Literature, History, Geography) is 1 point higher than the other admission combinations (In words: one point).
- The Academy does not use the results of exemption from foreign language exams, does not use the reserved scores from high school graduation exams, national high school exams of previous years for admission, and does not add priority points for candidates with vocational certificates.
Method 3 (PT3): Consider high school academic results (report card) – Code 200.
Average score = (GPA of Subject 1 + GPA of Subject 2 + GPA of Subject 3) + Bonus points (if any) + Pass score (if any)

+ DXT: Admission score;
+ GPA: Average score;
+ Priority points: Priority points (priority points for subjects and regions according to current admission regulations);
+ Average subject score = (Average score of grade 10 + Average score of grade 11 + Average score of grade 12)/3
The total of bonus points, bonus points, and incentive points (collectively referred to as bonus points) for candidates with special achievements and candidates with international English certificates must not exceed 10% of the maximum score of the scoring scale (maximum 3 points on a 30-point scale) and must be added before adding priority points.
Method 4 (PT4): Using the results of the competency assessment test organized by Hanoi National University of Education in 2025 - Code 402.

Admission principles:
- Admission score (ADS) is on a scale of 30 and rounded to two decimal places.
- The Academy considers from high to low scores until the quota is full.
- The Academy ensures the admission principles of candidates according to the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Academy.
- For methods 2 and 3, the majors of Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, and Economics, the admission score for the admission combination C00 (Literature, History, Geography) is 1 point higher than the other admission combinations (In words: one point).
- The Academy does not use the results of exemption from foreign language exams, does not use the reserved scores from high school graduation exams, national high school exams of previous years for admission, and does not add priority points for candidates with vocational certificates.
- The Academy does not consider cases of graduation before 2025.
- Candidates must meet the school's general admission criteria, have good conduct and have a total average score of the 3 subjects in the admission combination of grades 10, 11, and 12 that meets the specific threshold of each major. The Academy will notify in the Admission Notice at the time of admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; specific regulations for some majors are as follows:
+ For Law and Economic Law, the average score of the entire year of study in grades 10, 11, 12 of Math and Literature, or Math or Literature of the pre-requisite combinations must be ≥ 6.0 points (In words: six point zero).
+ Information Technology major, the average score of the entire year of study in grades 10, 11, 12 of Math in the registered combination must be ≥ 7.0 points (In words: seven point zero).
The total of bonus points, bonus points, and incentive points (collectively referred to as bonus points) for candidates with special achievements and candidates with international English certificates must not exceed 10% of the maximum score of the scoring scale (maximum 3 points on a 30-point scale) and must be added before adding priority points.
