Speaking to Dan Viet newspaper, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, principal of Trung Vuong Secondary School, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, said: "This year the school did not set up exam questions like this. To implement the 2018 generaleducation program, not only teaching methods but also assessment and evaluation must be innovated.

From that perspective, the school tries to innovate the way of making exam questions to ensure the criteria of both assessing knowledge and skills and integrating interdisciplinary and practical aspects so that students see that knowledge must be closely linked to life. That knowledge will be an important asset for students to apply to their lives and make life better."

According to Ms. Ha, with these new test questions, students are very interested in doing the test. One thing she has noticed in the students of the school is that when they see a situation in life, they have the reflexes and skills to apply knowledge to handle it.

It is known that this year, grade 9 students at Trung Vuong Secondary School have 451 students/10 classes. They are completing their study program and reviewing to prepare for the upcoming grade 10 entrance exam.

To prepare well for the 10th grade entrance exam in 2025, Ms. Ha shared: "For many years, the school has organized "Period 0" for students. That means starting from the end of February, the school will classify students according to their level for free training. In addition, the school regularly organizes tests for students to get acquainted. Students are also divided into rooms, working on test papers to prepare mentally and how to do the test best. Teachers will mark and correct the test very carefully so that students can learn from their mistakes."
