Candidates in Da Nang assessed the literature exam as excellent and very meaningful.

According to the candidates' assessments, the literature exam for 10th grade entrance was quite manageable, practical, and relatable, without being overly tricky. All the questions were within the junior high school curriculum that the candidates had studied and had been thoroughly reviewed by their teachers at school.

Nearly 15,500 candidates in Da Nang City have finished the Literature exam.

At the exam center at Tran Phu High School (Hai Chau District), most candidates were impressed with the social commentary question about acknowledging the good qualities of others. According to the students, this is a positive mindset, an important factor that provides motivation to help people strive and succeed in life.

Leaving the exam room feeling elated after doing well, candidate Nguyen Thanh Hong (residing in Hai Chau District, Da Nang) believes that average students can easily achieve scores between 5 and 7. However, to achieve high scores, in addition to having a solid grasp of learned knowledge, candidates need skills and the ability to apply that knowledge to the exam, according to Thanh Hong.

Most candidates in Da Nang City were particularly impressed with the essay question about recognizing the good qualities of others.

Candidate Bao Chau (residing in Hai Chau District, Da Nang City) said that before the exam, her teachers had reminded her to focus on thoroughly reviewing the Literature subject because they predicted that the exam would contain challenging questions to differentiate students. Therefore, Bao Chau was very worried and prepared her knowledge very well for the first exam.

Bao Chau shared: "I felt that this year's literature exam was quite 'manageable,' the knowledge was within the review program, and my teachers had thoroughly reviewed the work 'Silent Sa Pa' by Nguyen Thanh Long. I was most impressed with the social commentary question about knowing how to acknowledge the good points of others. Knowing how to acknowledge the good points of others not only helps them become more confident but also gives us an opportunity to reflect on ourselves and constantly strive for improvement. It helps us put ourselves in others' shoes to be more empathetic. With this exam, I predict I will get 7-8 points."

Sharing the same sentiment, candidate Trong Hoang excitedly said: "This year's literature exam was very relevant to the candidates, especially the social commentary question. The question was clear and easy to understand, and I studied very well, so I'm confident I'll get 8-9 points."

On the afternoon of June 6th, candidates will continue with the foreign language exam, with a time limit of 90 minutes. At 8:00 AM tomorrow (June 7th), candidates will take the mathematics exam, with a time limit of 120 minutes. On the morning of June 8th, candidates will take the specialized subject exam (150 minutes) for admission to Le Quy Don Specialized High School.
