According to the public 10th grade entrance exam plan, candidates will take 3 exams: Math, Literature, Foreign Language. The Math and Literature exams will be in essay format, with 120 minutes for each subject. For Foreign Language, candidates will take a 60-minute multiple choice test, choosing one of the following languages: English, French, German, Japanese, Korean.
Admission score is the total score of three subjects on a 10-point scale, without coefficient, plus priority and incentive points (if any).
This year, Hanoi has about 127,000 junior high school graduates, of which about 103,000 students registered for the 10th grade public high school entrance exam. According to the Department of Education and Training, about 64% of students registered for the exam were admitted to the 10th grade public high school.
It is expected that around July 4-6, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will simultaneously announce the exam scores and grade 10 benchmark scores. Successful candidates will confirm their enrollment from July 10-12.
